I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. I stayed in a spacious single room with amazing views over the valley and mountains. The room was well fitted with a single bed, desk and table. The bedding was very comfortable and the room clean. I enjoyed the sauna department (3 out of 4 saunas working), and the beautiful pool which had water from thermal springs and lovely views. The passage way leading to the spa and wellness area was nicely decorated with interesting artwork. The breakfast was sumptuous and the restaurant also had great views. The personnel were outstanding. Very service oriented, attentive, friendly and helpful with a personal touch. The location is great, just a few steps away from the waterfall, with views over the valley and surrounding mountains, and the start of a few lovely walks. The hotel offers a lift to the station which isn't far but up a steep hillside. There you can also catch the gondola up to the mountain which I highly recommend. I stayed three nights at this slice of paradise and wished I could have stayed longer. There are many hikes in the area (recommend the one to Hofgastein) and the hotel is a perfect place to relax in luxury after a day out. I will be back!

Stayed here for 6 nights during a skiing trip. The breakfast was good and the rooms were nice, However one negative thing was that the rooms were fairly poorly sound isolated. The hotel had a car going in shuttle to the stubnerkogel lift every morning.100 m down the street there was a busstop if you wanted to go to graukogel or other destinations. There was ompa techo and glühwein at 1600 every day in the hotel reception, which was nice when returning from the slopes. The ski-room had a decent setup for drying skiing boots. The staff was friendly. The bar had the usual lager and banana beer combo, but also had guiness which was nice. The hotel is in the bottom of bad gastein, so everywhere you are going requires a trek up a steep hill.

It is sad that they don't inform about the tax you have to pay to the local community before you book the hotel. All in fee does not exist on this hotel. Even if they write that on hotels.com

Nice hotel. The pool, steam room and multiple saunas are excellent. Staff polite and friendly and free shuttle bus to ski lift.

Not very far from the railway station, but not walking distance when you have a big suit case due to slopes (we took a taxi). However, on the day of departure, there was a shuttle service to the station free of charge ( reserved the day before), which was very helpful.

This is a grand old hotel with lots of history in a good location. The staff are mainly Russian which can be somewhat stern - they need to learn to smile ! We went for a romantic weekend, but were not really made to feel comfortable. Our room heating only started toward the later part of the evening and was turn off in the morning, so we were cold most of the time. There was no coffee/tea facilities in our room, and although the hotel has a spa they wanted to charge us for bathrobes. At check out the hotel wanted to charged us for breakfast even though this was included in our room charge, end up have a 30 minute argument which delayed our departure. Don't think we will be back

Very nice hotel and in general nice and helpfull staff. However one night receptionist is to blame for the low rating. Never in my life have I met such a world class arrogant person. He was rude and condescending. He was working the night watch on friday the 25th of march.

Elisabethpark was a very pleasant experience. We got very good service from all employees from the minute that we checked in until the minute the shuttle driver dropped us off att the Railway station. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet also held good class. Although the hotel is a bit down in the valley of Bad Gastein, the hotel's ski shuttle made it a good hotel also for skiing. We never had to wait more than five minutes to get to the slopes. Only improvement point I could see is that the internet was a bit slow during peak hours such as breakfast or evening.

Rooms are spacy and clean , modest furniture, great town and mountains view . Neat and cozy pool with thermal water and satisfactory sauna zone. Shuttle to ski lift and very friendly reception add up to positive experience. Cuisine was not surprising , but tolerable . To summarise - one of the best hotels for it's price !
