Pros: * SPACIOUS!! * 2 TVs - one in the bathroom and one in the living room. * patio door access to a small garden and dedicated table/chairs for each room. Cons: * facility is kind of old. The carpet is quite worn out and sofa cushion is very soft. * AC control unit isn't intuitive. I eventually had to turn it off to avoid loud noise.

Breakfast was nit 4 stars, rather poor. Long cirtidurds tonfetbyonyiur toon.,then back. The property is tired and need a renovation. It is 3 start ordinary. Nit a 4 star

It is a reordering looking place,but my room was nice. Staff was kind to tried to accommodate my smudges. It conveniently located near the station and also near the city centre. The staff was not very helpful or understanding when the reservation made a mistake; instead of two beds, they had a room with one bed. Explaining that both guests had hip surgery and could not share a bed. finally, at 9 pm, they brought a small foldable bed, and rather than accommodating us when we had already paid over 500 euros for two nights, they added 45 euros a night for the little foldable bed. very disappointing and truly ridiculous. The room also had very few electric plugs and no plugs in the bathroom, which was very inconvenient. Dirty glasses were left in the room and when I requested clean ones they told me to come and get them at the front desk, This type of service is not acceptable for a hotel of the quality and price of The Avignon Grand hotel.

The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The room we had was very clean but could do with an update but that didn't take away from the pleasure of the room. The bed was very comfortable and the shower very powerful. Great air conditioning and even though we were so close to the train station, the room is completely soundproof. The only negative I have is that the parking, even though it is underneath the hotel, is public parking at a cost of €1.80 per hour, or €18 per day.

The best days behind. Large rooms with efficient central managed aircondition. Just out of old town, so essy to reach by car or train (train station views;-(). Parking under the large ugly building. Silence.

We very much enjoyed our stay. All basic things were perfect. snacks for the bar. Could have a better selection of snacks in the Bar Area . Also woulf have likes at least 1 English TV Station.
