Wanted to give this Motel one more chance after very sad stay last month (oct) upgraded to superior room this month so paid more then last standard room stay.
Wow worse, no bathroom sink, to many faults to metion , so brush teeth in same sink as wash coffee cups etc no thanks
Love the location but sorry wont be back. I

A small budget motel room which was surprisingly quiet. Most rooms are located upstairs. Short walk to CBD.

It is very close to the railway station, an easy walk to coffee shops and close to the Bargara bus stop.
The AC was too noisy to use. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean. Easy access for late check in. Very helpful staff. Great price.

Good value for money. Room was clean and had enough facilities. Bit noisy being on the main road and the train nearby though.

Great location minutes walk from train station. Ten minutes walk to several shopping areas, parks and river walk. Laundromat across road. Room was cery clean, spacious (family room). Kitchenette with all you need. Frosted windows were unexpected but really good as it allowed you to have light while maintaing privacy. Staff very friendly and helpful. They really want you to enjoy your stay. Allowed me to store my luggage after checkout as I was catching late train. Plenty of easy parking on site. Would stay again.

If you want a simple overnight place to stay, safe, extremely clean, and with all the basic things you need, you can’t go past Matilda. Have stayed a few times now and would recommend it to any travellers who don’t want all the expensive bells and whistles! Directly opposite the railway station and one of the best burger joints in the country, open 24hrs!

Our stay at Matilda Motel was perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hosts & other staff were lovely, making sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The pool area was great to relax in also. We would recommend Matilda Motel for all this and also because of its handy location.

Very good value for money, and super clean! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was perfect. I would highly recommend if you needed a conveniently located Motel.
