Clean and comfortable. 2 bedroom 2 bath is a big plus. balcony is in front of a wooded area with a creek. Price is good too. Close to Lake Placid (but much less crowded) and the fall foliage along the way is very beautiful.
Some suggestions:
1. Each apartment should has a hairdryer
2. We are in 5A, would feel safer if the door to the balcony has a blind or curtain as it is directly towards the bedroom.
3. Many cleaned cups and mugs, but it would be ideal to provide a few disposable ones.
Overall, it was a good experience and highly recommend!

Convenient location for hiking. Good water pressure. Our room was switched to one not selected. Need extra pillows the ones provided are thin. If it wasnt for the fact we do not spend much time in our rooms because we are out hiking most of the day i would rate this lower but for the price, it serves the purpose. There is a place very close for breakfast and the ice jam is a great dinner place.

This property was very outdated, and in very poor condition the rooms were very dark and depressing, and the staff was not particularly accommodating. I asked for an upstairs room was not accommodated yet when I arrived, there were several empty up there definitely not staying here again I woke up and bolted out of there at 5:30 AM.

Stayed here many times over 10 years with family. Great location for vacation to satisfy everyone's interests. (could use update in mattresses), otherwise good place to stay.

For the price of these accommodations, it exceeded my expectations. I just go to hike so I do not require much. This had 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a back patio near the brook, a full kitchen and it was less expensive than when I rented out a room in Keene Valley. Would definitely stay again.

Needs some painting, exterior clean up, tree trimming etc. to make it more appealing. I know it takes time and a big investment and appreciate the efforts so far.

Affordable motel. Nothing fancy but comfortable for a short stay. Easy check in (they send a text with the code to get into your room). A/C didn't work so it was pretty hot in the room.

It is fair. You pay what you get. The room is clean and kitchen is really helpful to make something to eat easily. Full size stove and fridge are great. There is no AC here. It is not comfortable in a hot humid night.

I Liked the wilder surroundings.
I did not like the lac of useful things in the kitchen (no extra plastic bags for the garbage, no paper towels, very few utensils).

This is a very hard review to write because our rooms (2) were VERY nice having been newly renovated. But the overall property is just beginning to be renovated and many of the rooms are not yet ready for visitors. We saw and visited one couple who were given a very old and unclean room initially but were given a full refund and cancellation upon request. The proprietors are very accommodating but communicate only through an intercom or by texting. We did not meet any staff. But all that said, the finished renovated rooms (like ours)were great.

I loved the old cottage feel and I was mesmerized by the bedroom balconies to the creek. I will definitely be coming back and will be staying longer!!

It was a pleasant experience, situated to the place i want to visit like the High Gorge Falls and ausable chasm. It has clean bed sheets and towels, bathroom clean and functioning, essentials are provided, 2 bedroom and bath for a decent price plus kitchen. The only thing is that only one room has electric fan. I would be nice if both rooms could have it, i end up using the window electric fan. Another thing i love are the 2 restaurant nearby called Adirondack mountain cafe and ice jim inn.

The decor is dated, yet I love that they use what they have instead of sending things to the trash and replacing them with newer versions. In this way, this hotel seems truly to practice sustainability. I also loved opening up the back door and seeing the creek--it is literally just steps away. I will definitely come back when I am in this area again!
