All good with the hotel but as with all hotels I used this time around in Europe (Spain and Germany), the rooms have that embedded tobacco smell! Other than that all good. Very frie dly personnel.

They would not refund a mistaken 14-day stay when it was 2. Always screen-shoot your Orbitz when booking this terrible place.

Pleasant stay. Slept well. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Could have done with a second pillow. Poor view from window. Very helpful reception staff.

The Hotel was excellent and close to everything.

Hotel was nice, staff were friendly. Pillows were flat, but no real complaints. This was a quick overnight stay on our way to Portugal.

The room is nice and clean, The property overall is nice, but it is next to the train station. There is no noise, but the view is not pleasant. Area around the hotel is nice, and it has nice cozy restaurants around, and a carfour (grocery store) next to it. Parking is extra for 5 euro a day, and every time when enter you have to ring the button and give the room number. Shower was having an issue in my room. At full pressure, flooded the bathroom and the hole way. Overall I recommend the property for the price.

This time, to my surprise in the retail space underneath the hotel - and literally underneath my room 119 - there is now a nightclub. As I rocked to sleep, I made a mental note to identify the quiet rooms the next morning. When you book, make sure you request a room in the range 122 - 157. They are in a different wing, and that should be a lot quieter.

Your hotel service was great, great personnel, but your WiFi does not reach the 3rd floor and could not use it at all during my stay. NOT GOOD!!!

product is OK for the price, but not more. breakfast should be improved because it was very basic. train station is really beside the hotel, result is disturbing noise.

to begging with, I am traveling with my 13yo and 11yo kids as specified on my booking, but on the room it was only provided with a king size bed and a double sofa bed, so we been forced to share beds, the hotel it is a bit wear out now maybe it was a 4 stars before but definitely not now, breakfast very poor not enough options and also if you are one of the last coming down you will have the left overs as they don’t refill, so I will say it is no worth it get another options if you can

We enjoyed our stay at Plaza Las Matas. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We found a lovely pizza restaurant to eat in on our first night. It was very easy getting the train into Madrid centre - very helpful member of staff sorted out our ticket and told us where to get off. All in all a good place to stay for two nights.

Supermarket right next door with anything you needed. The breakfast Buffett was pretty good a wide variety of food and a good amount of fresh fruit. Free parking ad I had s car and a easy drive to Madrid
