Breakfast and a surprise were the best parts. My husband is a stickler for real eggs and this breakfast had them, including separate egg whites! Staff was kind from start to finish. The room was very clean. Pool was clean and warm. And the private covered bridge was the cherry on top! What a nice surprise for some nice photos without anyone else around! This one is in my top five five favorite hotels in the entire country!

A very enjoyable stay, from beginning to end. Check-in was a breeze. All staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. More than enough towels and washcloths. Location was great. Even the free breakfast quality and selection was good. The only slight negative was a bit of noise bleed through the walls. But it was hardly noticeable when the fan unit kicked in. All in all, a great choice if you are looking for somewhere to stay near Stowe.

Waterbury has a charming Main Street area. It's also home to the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory and famous Apple Cider Mill! Make sure you check out Cabot Creamery ( lots of free samples, cheese and more!) and Lake Champlain Chocolates store. A short drive to Stowe (about 10 to 15 minutes) and the price is much better than hotels in Stowe. We drove to Stowe for dinner one evening and we drove in the next morning to spend the day. The hotel is not fancy, but comfortable. We didn't use the pool or hot tub. The breakfast buffet is free and offers a nice selection, including waffles, of which we're not normally a fan, but the real butter, Vermont maple syrup, and whipped cream made it a totally different experience. They also served sauteed veggies, fresh melon (yes, in October), ham, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal with various toppings, etc. The breakfast was much more than the usual hotel free breakfast. Great views as well!

Pros: Room was a good size, well kept and the beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and powerful. Wifi was good. There is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The staff are helpful and friendly (and have some personality - they aren't too "corporate"), especially the man who helped us operate the washing machine. Breakfast buffet was pretty good - I enjoyed the waffles. Plenty of parking. Cons: The location is slightly outside Waterbury, so you have to drive to the restaurants. We thought we could walk it in 20 minutes, but we hadn't realised there is a four lane highway that you have to cross and there isn't a pedestrian crossing, so we changed our minds and got in the car instead!

Excellent one night stay in this comfortable clean and well presented hotel. Staff were very pleasant and check in was quick. The room was a good size and very clean. A delicious hot breakfast was also provided. The grounds were decorated for Fall which was a delightful touch.

I loved the outside area around the property. Had a beautiful covered bridge and a nice park with a seating area. Check in was nice and easy plus staff gave us really good recommendations for supper! Really enjoyed my stay here

After 2 nights of horrendous hotels nearby this was a breath of fresh air. Beautiful property with plenty of activities for the kids, wonderful staff, and most importantly very clean rooms. The breakfast options were excellent as well. The front desk attendant even filled my cooler with fresh ice for me. Thank you for a great stay!

Bob was very nice at check in. Answered all our questions and made sure we didn’t need anything. Hotel is an older one but very well kept. Bathroom was totally remodeled and very nice. Best nights sleep we’ve had! Beds were so comfortable and time was very clean!

The Best Western Plus in Waterbury-Stowe far exceeded our expectations. We had expected a generic, standard issue, low frills roadside hotel - this was anything but. From the fresh baked cookies and lattes offered at check-in to the flower-festooned covered bridge and walking trails on the gorgeous hillside property, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. This hotel was very accommodating of our dog, and we were particularly impressed by the multitude of yummy offerings at the breakfast bar. The staff were very pleasant as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for traveling families.
