Excelent Service. We arrived somewhat late but they opened their bar for a night cap. The breakfast buffet was variedad and plentifuk. Windows were Double / tripled paned. Very quiet.

Pros : Room and spa were clean, staff was friendly and it is just right next to the beach. Cons: Double bed was actually done with two mattresses instead of one, so you end up sinking in between. Most of the furnitures are quite old (ripped chairs, falling shelf, rusty heater in bathroom, etc.) You clearly can see that this hotel was bought back after the previous owner went bankrupt a couple of month ago (true story). I recommend only if you are looking to go to the spa, otherwise you can find better for this price (ps : this is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel).

The hotel was in an amazing setting , easy walking distance to all the restaurants. Would definitely recommend!!!

Great hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea with a balcony. Staff at the hotel were very friendly. Welcome cocktails and canapes on the Monday lunchtime was a bonus. Spa and pool was great with jacuzzi style pools.

Clean room. Nice layout. Friendly staff in restaurant and bar. Beautiful views of beach from hotel. Sandy beach just outside the front door.

Wonderful spa of pools with various water jets for massage, all available to guests at no charge. Beautiful view on the beach and ocean. Having breakfast on our ocean view balcony...ahhh.

The pool machines made too much noise, in particular a high pitched whine that penetrated from the reception area, throughout the bar and into the massage rooms on 2 levels. In fact, they reverberated throughout the hotel, from the bottom floor into the hotel rooms above. I was told by staff that this situation has been going on for a number of years. The thallaso and spa services were wonderful, although I was disappointed that they only offered a yoga class once a week. The heated sea water pools were excellent, yet the decor left a lot to be desired ... 1970's chic. I came for rest and relaxation, but felt stressed by the constant high pitched clatter.

This hotel is a nice base for exploring, you can see Pyrenees foothills and it's right on the coast. Hendye is ok, not as exciting as Biarritz and San Sebastián but quieter and the harbour is nice. Hotel is well situated, it's great having the spa downstairs (compulsory swim hat so bring one or be prepared to buy) and the food was great. Service was ok but a bit variable. Perhaps very English of us, but even at request they don't provide tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which we think of as an essential. But generally bed was comfy, rooms were quiet and toiletries smelled great.

Nice hotel, clean and bright rooms, modern decor throughout. Staff are ok but could be better and more friendly. The spa access cards and wristbands is the most unnecessary system I've ever seen in a spa. The water spa area itself is ok but not amazing, needs refurbishment and updating.
