Elegant hotel and grounds. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were outstanding. Worth the travel time and expense for a special trip.

The Hotel was nice and mostvof the staff were friendly. However the service in the restaurant was not so good. My meal was fine but my wife's chicken wasn't. When we mentioned it to the waiter his response was,
" well it's corn fed" and then walked off.
Also the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should've been for a 5 star Hotel.
I don't think we will be returning.

Staff were so helpful- they couldn’t do enough for us. They even provided us with little celebration plates of desserts/cake.
Room was very comfortable and we made use of the great fan provided. Plenty of good quality tea and coffee. Bathroom was lovely with superfine rain shower and huge bath- all very modern. Gorgeously soft towels and robes provided.
Food was delicious - thank you chef. All cooked to order from an a la carte menu with a great range. The waiting staff were attentive but discrete.
Would thoroughly recommend the hotel as a special treat.

Enjoy a leisurely walk around the grounds, or sit with a glass of wine in the gardens, before enjoying a delicious meal in the dining room with additional garden views. There are many smaller lounges and an abundance of board games and books on hand and the staff are happy to provide recommendations on activities and sights to see in the surrounding villages.
