Had a 3 night 4 day family trip. Weather wasn’t the best but we made it work. We enjoy this hotel for the price , it’s hidden and the customer service is great.
Beds are cozy and it’s very clean. Could use some updates but still very comfortable none the less

Do not stay at this motel if you want to sleep well. It is located within 1 blocks distance of the Regional Airport in Monterey. Commercial jets arrived after 11:00 PM and departed before 6:30 AM. This older motel has single pane windows which do not buffer the intense reverse thruster noise from jets when landing or the jet noise upon take off. The location is in the hillside and not within walking distance of anything. There were 2 queen beds and 1 of the bed skirts had a disgusting stain on the shiny sateen bed skirt. Unfortunately I was pre-paid and did not attempt to relocate to another motel because I booked for early morning golf for 3 days on this birthday getaway. It would have a lot of trouble to relocate. In addition the room was heavily scented with cleaning products which is usually a bad sign of masking a problem.

Stayed here twice--right after my flight to Monterey and then the night before I went home. The room was fine enough, but I was pleased with the service and location convenience. You can walk right from the hotel (albeit a short part of that is on the road) to the airport.

The room is very clean and spacious. There's a small patio with deck chairs that one can sit outside to enjoy some fresh air. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet. It's very loud when flushing. Also, the toilet seat does not fit the toilet properly so whenever you sit down, the seat moves.

It was excellent, the staff was great and very helpful, I really recommend this place to stay, I know for sure next time I get to travel back that way, this will be the place I'll be staying again,

When we arrived, everything seemed nice, until my kids started walking around the room. When they got on the bed, the bottom of their feet were black. The carpet was so dirty, that it turned the bottom of their feet black within the first 10 minutes of being here. Luckily, we brought our slippers, so we made sure to always have them on while we were in the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I'm guessing they use box spring mattresses, but mine and my husband's backs had to recover after the trip. The continental breakfast was okay and as expected. This place also doesn't have AC, but you're able to open the window. The breeze was nice, so we didn't actually need an AC. When it got cold, the heater in the room worked excellent. Customer service was okay too. The front desk people are nice. Due to the cleanliness and mattresses, I wouldn't stay here again.
