Had a great 3 night stay in August, the hotel couldn't be better located, and has a lovely charm with a really cool garden, the owners Thor and Michelle are extremely friendly and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice personable stay in stunning Zermatt.

Had a great 3 night stay in August, the hotel couldn't be better located, and has a lovely charm with a really cool garden, the owners Thor and Michelle are extremely friendly and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice personable stay in stunning Zermatt.

Honestly could not fault this place. The staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the recommendations on what to do in the town - it was all incredible. Would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Zermatt.

Hosts are incredible. Tor and Michelle made us feel very comfortable each and every step of our stay in Zermatt. Very convenient location. Beautiful and clean place to stay. Our room was very nice, clean with a great view from balcony. Breakfast was awesome. I would love to have some more vegetarian option for the hot breakfast (being a vegetarian) but still overall great breakfast and dinning area. Host picked us up and dropped us off at the Zermatt station which was super helpful as we were traveling with a child and 3 big luggage. We felt very comfortable. 10/10. Would highly recommend this place.

We had the best personal service at this beautiful chalet small hotel from owners, Michele and Thor! They greeted and treated us as if we were family! The beautiful flowery entrance is gorgeous. We loved it!

Michelle and her husband were wonderful! Both very personable and attentive to every single aspect of my stay. Suggested things to do. This was an amazing property for many reasons. The hospitality was off the charts and very concierge. The breakfast was timely, beautifully presented, complete with many choices, and excellent quality. The rooms were modern and more spacious than others we had in Switzerland. The location is away from the night time partying. First-class treatment with a personal touch!

Excellent Staff, The Manager was very helpful and very cooperative. Provided help on planning the sight seeing and options available. Excellent view from balcony. Breakfast on the house and is excellent. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

This is the most beautiful bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at! Thur and Michelle were very welcoming and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The rooms were very charming with great views. They even included breakfast which was very delicious!

Thor, the host, was waiting to pick us up from the train station, and we were shown nothing but the absolute best hospitality from the second we arrived to the second we left. The hotel was incredible cute and impeccably clean, and we felt right at home. We were truly treated like family and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Have never been made so welcome in a hotel. Nothing was too much for our hosts Michele and Tor. The Romantica is well placed in the middle of the town, the room was warm, clean and comfortable. Spotless bathroom. A variety of breakfast items (hot and cold) with decent coffee, hot chocolate etc.

We stayed here for 6 nights and couldn’t fault a single thing. From the instructions for the late arrival key retrieval, fantastic breakfast included and served with a smile each day by Michelle and her son - to the daily recommendations on the weather and suggested hikes from Thor. We will definitely be back!
