I had booked a room with a spa tub, and did not get this. The hotel paid for my parking, which was nice but the whole reason I booked at this property was to have that room. I could have easily booked somewhere else with a similar room for cheaper. The shower had the worst water pressure ever. The pool is a joke, super small and not even a jacuzzi. Even motel 6 has jacuzzis. I was very unimpressed. Not worth the price.

Quick shopping getaway with kids. Paid for upgrade to suite. Well worth it. Even the sleeper was comfy

You will hear every single door shut and they only offer valet parking for $65 and that price is absolutely outrageous. There was construction going on and they never gave a heads up for that. The rooftop bar was nice and the drinks were delicious. The room was clean and beds are comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. I will not stay here again because of the noise and the cost to park.

The staff is nice. The room is small. We had no working AC the first night of our stay our sheets had blood stains on them that was super gross. although they did come and change them. no cups in the room for the ice and waters. The sofa bed had no sheets. We had to call the desk and the lady said they are in the closet ... nothing was in the closet but a safe and robe. The room is not worth the price we paid for it AT ALL. The food at landshark is so disgusting. Go across to Bubs much better. Save yourself the money and stay somewhere else! for $1347 for 2 nights was a lot of money for this nightmare.

This is a beautiful Jimmy Buffet themed hotel. Valet Parking is expensive, but you can walk to Petco Park and many restaurants etc. easily. Not too big to cause overcrowding or long lines to check in. They never did text us that our room was ready so you may want to check in. We were happily enjoying the pool with food and drinks while we were waiting anyway. Breakfast choices were boring compared to other restaurants nearby. They also didn’t tell us we had a $25 food/beverage credit until we were leaving, so we were not able to use it. All in all, service, location and amenities made it a location we would happily return to.

The hotel was located within walking distance to so many places. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here.

Or take in an event at Petco park 2 blocks away. Will definitely go back.

the hotel was really nice and worth staying. Only huge issue i had the pool servers ignored us until we started ordering drinks. Even at that they only came around a handful of times while sitting near the pool. I had to flag them down to get service.

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. I doubt we will eat at the restaurant again though. Staff was friendly but we didnt enjoy the food.

Our stay at Margaritaville Hotel in downtown San Diego was great and only 2 blocks from Petco Park. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The “5 o’clock somewhere” bar on the roof was great as well.

Great location and hotel! Loved the pool area. The only reason for the lower rating is because they charge too much for amenities and parking!! This would keep me from being able to go back as it made it just too expensive! Please work on that!

The pool area is fun and pretty diverse. Party people, parents and little kids. Only suggestion is for the hotel to clean their drains -- bathroom sink backed up quickly. And so did the shower. They need a rooter.
