Hotel was updated and clean. The electronic card worked, but not my door. The clerk apparently understood the door was an issue, but let me get settled in for the night before I had another potential serious issue with the door before offering to let me move rooms. She should have explained the situation and let me decide up front if I wanted that room. I was settled in with a dog for only one night and it was getting late, so I didn't change rooms, but it was a big problem again in the morning. Grab and go breakfast didn't have any options in it that I could go eat. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels lately that had a free basic hot breakfast. major disappointment in Hampton Inn. The hot and cold water in the room was backwards and mismarked. Last pet friendly at an extra $50 a night is outrageous. Most hotels charge $20. Mine is a service dog, so there was no charge in the end, but $50 wow.

The room has a large bathroom that wa well stocked. The king bed was very comfortable. The television was larger than other hotels for a good viewing experience.

The positives were as follows: the bed and pillows were very comfortable and he room was quiet for a good nights sleep.The complimentary breakfast was great. Now the downside of the room: The carpet and window blinds both had big stains. There was mildew in the shower and the bathroom fan didnt work. There were stains on the wall opposite the toilet.

It was a pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Tacoma. It was clean, everything in good condition, the staff was very friendly and it was convenient for restaurants & the freeway entrance was very close. We would stay here again

I was a little disappointed in the fact it was paper plates and plastic cutlery for breakfast, that's not exactly eco friendly and is just cheap. The best part of the stay was the comfortable bed and pillow!

Everything was very nice, and clean. Sheets, pillows, towels were all great except for little blood stains on the bottom of the door frame. Other than that, the room was really quite nice. Would stay there again.

When checking in*tried* to be patient, but , it took about 90 minutes of waiting for our room to be ready. It wasn't the desk staff's fault, but I feell like the girl helping me wasn't very empathetic to the stress we (about 25 -30 of us) felt in this situation. When she thanked me for my patience, I stated that I TRIED to be patient, but was failing after 60 minutes of waiting... AFTER check-in time.

They gave us a room that another customer lieing in bed when we walked in. It was embarrassing for the both of us/ they didn’t check to see if someone was in there. They assumed it was ready because when. They called no one answered.

I was surprised by the cleanliness and safety of the hotel. The price point was convenient but the quality and amenities were top tier.

The property is run down. Twice i went to the front desk & no one was there. I had to hollar into offices to ger help. Itbwas expensive for a not great area & a not great property.

Parking in the back was a little tight. Room was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean public areas and room.
