Beautiful place steeped in history. The staff was warm and helpful.
The restaurant uses lots of locally sourced foods. Even honey from their own hives.
A tour of the manor house was included.
The rooms were nicely decorated and clean but the bathrooms could use an update.

We stayed one night because our friends' wedding dinner and celebrations were taking place at Bårdshaug mansion. Everything was great, from the friendly staff to the room and the food (both the wedding dinner and breakfast the next morning - which included many locally sourced/produced items).
