The schloss complex has been converted imaginatively and tastefully into a well-equipped hotel. The reception and restaurant staff were most helpful and courteous and helped to make our stay very enjoyable.

I wish there had been something to do besides the spa. There needs to be some transportation available to go to some of the natural wonders ie caves, Maria Laachsee or other places.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was varied and delicious. The restaurant did not serve a variety of food or drink, however the food was fantastic. Public transport was not as easy to use as in the City but the area around the hotel is within easy access to many hikes and local attractions were within a short car drive.

It's difficult to find any fault with this one, perhaps it's lacking elevator, but thats good for your health :)

In the end of May it was quite cold especially in the evening and the heater was already switched off. So in the night it felt rather cold. Besides thick duvets which are too hot and heavy there was a thin blanket which I liked but in was very short...
Otherwise nice hotel. Room was in perfect condition and spacious. Breakfast was good. Not so far from autobahn so it was convenient with a car.
No elevator but this you can expect in a castle hotel. But people with heavy bags should be ready.
