I'd recommend staying here. The location is great and you can do laundry here (they also provide the detergent)! The rooms were nice and there's a big shared kitchen which was really clean. It's very central so you might want earplugs. The bathroom was a bit weird since there was only frosted glass separating it from the rest of the room and not a proper wall. The check in is also a little weird since you have to go into a store so it was a bit confusing.

The property would not respond to messaging by Expedia app, WhatsApp nor direct phone calls. They changed there check in process and the instructions on Expedia were incorrect. To check in you need to go to the store next door and check in at their cash register. All of this is as-of Oct. 13-15, 2023

StayInn is directly on top of Ale-Hop in the centre of historical Evora. Very convenient to everything. It's like an upscale hostel. It had a nice common kitchen, fully equipped and had a big fridge so we can self-cater. My room was very big with 2 twin beds but they put them together.

This is a great place to stay if you are in Evora for some days. We took the single 2-bed room and we were provided with all facilities including daily cleaning without requesting so.

This is a great place to stay if you are in Evora for some days. We took the single 2-bed room and we were provided with all facilities including daily cleaning without requesting so.

The location was great -- just steps away from the center and major sights. But rather hard to access if by car, as there's no convenient parking. The building seemed rather old, and a number of things in the room didn't work very well, were lacking, or could be better designed. For example, there was no waste basket, lighting in the bedroom isn't well positioned, the curtains can't be drawn aside easily, the bathroom door scrapes against the floor when you open it, the soap dispenser leaks, etc. On the other hand, the kitchen was great -- well equipped with dishware, appliances, and staples for cooking and eating.
