I booked a handicap room. The beds were so high that I had to use a chair from the room to help me boost my disabled mother into the bed. For that matter, at 60, I had to use the chair to get into the bed myself. You’d have to take a running jump to get into those beds. Also, I couldn’t get any water in the shower. When I’d turn on the water and adjust the temperature the water would literally stop running before I could turn on the shower. All the front desk could do was tell me that no one was working from the maintenance department. I check out and went next door to the Comfort Inn and Suites where I had an excellent experience. Holiday Inn should be ashamed…. You have absolutely no idea what a handicap room is.

Upon checking in , I was told I needed to provide a credit card for “incidentals” and got an alert via text that $164 charge was pending on my credit card. When I went on my app, I discovered I was charged 3x for the identical amount. I went downstairs and spoke with the front desk employee. That explained that “it sometimes happens” but should fall off within a day or 2. I requested she leave a message for the manager as I was going to be extremely displeased if it didn’t. The following morning during checkout I requested to speak with manager. She assured me that it should disappear within 3 or 4 days (yet it showed up within 60 seconds as being held on my phone app). Just went on my app and it’s Still showing pending 13 days later??? Don’t care whether the stay was great or poor, just shocked that my $ is still pending after being assured it would be handled!!!!

I am finding the cleanliness is getting worse year by year. I have gone to this hotel for years but will try something else next time

From the front desk to the room service staff cleanliness of the room, the complimentary breakfast it was a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend the Holiday Inn express in Rome Georgia to anybody heading that way.

This hotel was perfect for the imagine festival. It was super clean…spotless!!! And i would def recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was great!! The only downside was when it was extremely busy, it was hard finding parking on 1 of the 3 nights we stayed there. But even with that, it was WELL WORTH IT!! The beds were comfortable!!! If you can, upgrade to the suite!!! Till next Time!!! 5 stars all the way
