Brutal night. Raucous noise throughout the entire stay. Kids running up and down halls pounding on walls, doors slamming, people shouting all night long. No interference from staff.

One night stay. Clean and comfortable room. Adequate parking. There is both an active rail line and a highway behind the hotel, but we still got a good night's sleep. Friendly and helpful staff. More spacious breakfast area than some other chain motels, with the usual offerings of bread, bagels, muffins, cereal etc and some hot food.

The hotel was good overall. There is a train behind that is noisy at one point during the night.

The first night was horrible but was a complete opposite of the rest of our 5 night stay. The staff did their best with a very rowdy neighbour and made things right by moving us to another better and quiet room. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The beds and pillows are comfortable and clean. The window coverings are light diffusing blinds as well as room darkening blinds but no curtains so you do have light coming in on the sides. Breakfast is good with omelettes, bacon, sausage, a pancake making machine and different breads to choose from. Side note( a potato product would be nice) The staff is wonderful. Their friendliness and kindness is what makes the hotel's rating go up. They are very attentive to the breakfast area making sure it is always stocked well. The front desk staff is always ready to help with anything you need and very friendly. Truthfully we were ready to leave when we first saw and smelled our room but they made it all better and then some, when they saw something was terribly wrong. Thanks for a great stay. If we come back to Saint John we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

When checked in, the receptionist showed no emotion, might be he's too tired or to busy. Bacon or sausage was not refilled when we had breakfast at about 8:45am. Others were good.

The bed was very creaky. Was okay for one night but the overall condition of the property was run down. Breakfast was great.

The Area of the Hotel is in a somewhat barren area of town and its obvious that this is an older hotel. Not much to look at from the outside . Interior is better . The room itself was updated but somewhat generic. Clean room and bed was comfortable . Interactions with the staff was pleasant . included breakfast was fine for our needs

the rooms at the rear of the building are very close to the railroad tracks. the trains are easily heard. lack of an elevator, even though only 2 stories is a drawback. room and facilities are clean and the staff helpful.

While the rooms and property itself are nice, the hallways have no air-conditioning and the ice machines are few and far between. You have up so too much walking. In addition there is a homelessness issue less than a kilometer from the hotel making safety an issue for some. Not me personally but for others i was with who aren't large men so too say.

I was concerned that the location would be too far from everything but it wasn’t too bad. 17 minute walk into town which wasn’t bad at all. The mall was an 8 minute drive away. This hotel was reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and updated. No carpet which is great. Free breakfast in the morning. Laundry facilities at the end of the hall. The only thing I found unusual is that this hotel does not have the “do not disturb” sign in the rooms. You can get one if you ask the front desk but they are not just sitting in the room. We didn’t bother getting one but even though the cleaner was going in daily, I don’t think she passed the bathroom. Towels were refreshed but nothing else. We ended up buying our own toilet paper at the store, I went to the front desk and asked for coffee pods. None of those things were refreshed in the four days we stayed and we were leaving a tip which was even more confusing. Maintenance on the other hand was great. We had an issue with our fridge and as soon as we called the front desk it was promptly taken care of. I would stay at this hotel again. Some of the reviews make it sound awful, we found it safe, comfortable and convenient.

Nice place, we stayed 5days was good the staff and service were awesome, clean and just walking distance to downtown. Overall ratings was good.

The motel did not have a restaurant on site,but we asked the desk clerks for ideas and they gave us a $10 gift card for another motels restaurant. It was a very nice place and food was great. Much appreciated! Hot tub was not working, which was a big disappointment, but would stay again.
