Nickie was extremely friendly and helpful with finding taxi companies for us. The full English breakfast was beautifully cooked with nice crispy toast. Regarding cleanliness, I would have given one more star had I not found cobwebs around the window. Overall, good.

So quiet in the depths of the Somerset countryside that there was little noise apart from the birds! Very hospitable, nice food, and a clean and adequately comfortable room. A pleasant night’s stay.

We are a family of four and stayed for two nights so we could attend a wedding. Lovely pub in a quiet country location, which is manged by a very lovely lady and gentleman. Also, lovely dogs living there. Room clean and comfortable. Great power shower. Great breakfast. Wish we could've stayed longer. Will definitely stay again. Thank you so much.

Everything was first class about this venue. It is in a beautiful village with other attractions. The owners and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would recommend it.

I missed the obvious door bell to get into The New Inn so phoned and go a speedy response. Breakfast was just what I wanted, hot, well cooked and just the right amount for the older person. The evening meal was very good and I’d picked the vegi option. My only issue, a minor squeaky bathroom door, so once opened it stayed open.

We stayed just the one night and arrived after 7.30 pm we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely, lovely meal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great room, very comfy bed. Breakfast was brilliant, great full english! Can highly recommemd The New Inn.

The pub was brilliant and so friendly from first introduction to saying goodbye! The breakfast was delicious and filled a hole. And there were puppies which is an absolute bonus! Couldnt fault it, we were only there for a wedding but we would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

A very welcoming village pub. Food was great and the room we had (family room) was clean, fresh laundry and spacious. Great value as well. Breakfast was perfect portion size and a tasty start to our day. We would definitely go back.

Lovely pub located in a small quiet village. We used it as a base to visit other areas nearby. Bedroom ensuite was warm and clean. We found the bed quite uncomfortable with a soft matress dipping in the middle and able to feel the metal springs. Furnishings are tired, but,more than adequate for our needs. Nice, hot over the bath shower. Tea and coffee provision excellent. We had our evening meals at the pub. Highly recommended! Hot and plentiful! Excellent breakfast.

Room was spacious enough for a family of four, with a decent size bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good size portions at good prices and tasted great. The breakfast was also great and each time the service was friendly and efficient. This is a lovely little traditional pub in a beautiful village and I would happily recommend to anyone wanting somewhere for an overnight stay.
