Great hotel...my go to in Sandwich

Service was exceptional, from check in to the gentleman running the breakfasts.
Room was tired, but comfortable. Nice bed and lovely touches such as fresh milk, nespresso machine and great quality biscuits.
Bathroom was freezing and tired, but fine and a nice warm shower.
I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but based on the breakfast I wish I did. Fantastic eggs Benedict cooked to order and a wonderful selection of great quality food to pick from the buffet section. Server for breakfast was friendly, professional and incredibly efficient.
Overall this hotel was great value for money.

Shower in room 39 had a very bad smell of mold. Fan was running when I arrived. Also, water pressure was very low and sometimes didn't even come on.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Hot water ran out after a few minutes in the shower, then a few minutes later all the water turned off in the shower. I complained to the management but they were really rude and ignored me totally. Since I had prepaid for the room I had no recourse. I highly recommend you not include this hotel in your offering.

Friendly staff, nice touch with fresh milk given out on check in for tea coffee in room. Cosy room clean and tidy, comfy. Breakfast very good everything on offer quick and hot. Will be back

Stayed in the summer and without air con the rooms get stuffy - I have stayed a few times - and you have to leave the windows open which means the seagulls wake you early. I will definitely stay again.

Parking close and can purchase from hotel for 4pm to 10am which significantly cheaper. Breakfast lovely too, will definitely stay again. Great nights sleep as not as noisy as other hotels. Thank you

Every member of staff was cheerful, helpful and welcoming.

Arrived around 10:30pm, guy who was meant to check me in left via the back door. I was checked in by bar staff, handed a key and had to find my way through a series of doors and stairs. Old creaky hotel with no soundproofing to room next door with noisy tv and snoring person, not worth £187

Elements of the Hotel were looking a little tired, the stairways looked worn and in need of attention.
No lifts so 3 flights of stairs, some of the stairways being quite narrow.
Staff were friendly, unfortunately the chef did not turn up for breakfast.

Love staying at The Bell. Staff are very friendly. Food is really good, wonderful breakfast with awesome choices included. Room was very well appointed with superb view of the river.

We travelled with 3 small children and stayed in a family room. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Perfect for our family. Parking was only £1.50 and breakfast was included. Breakfast quality was excellent. Not a greasy spoon, no. This was a lovely, quality breakfast offering with something for everyone.
Will absolutely stay again. Great value for money.
