The hotel was very dirty and run down, it also had a terrible smell. We had to buy air freshener that helped a bit.

The Abbercorn Inn in Richmond has been our go to for an overnight from air travel for many years.
It is clean and friendly but definitely outdated.
But for the price it is a good stop over with free shuttle to and from Airport and complimentary breakfast.

There was several long black hairs in the bathroom. There was no fitted sheets on the bed, woke me up several times to remake the bed. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. Had a terrible time trying to get what I wanted on the tv, should come with detailed instructions.

My stay at the Abercorn Hotel was overall okay, offering a basic experience. They kindly accommodated my request for a late checkout, which I appreciated. However, the beds were not comfortable, and the fitness facilities left much to be desired. If a gym is a priority for you, this may not be the best choice.

We needed accommodation pre flight the following the day. This hotel was fine for 1 night. Great that it had airport shuttle too and the price included breakfast so that was a plus.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room bathroom sink a little clogged. Breakfast needs a little more. They have bread, but no cheesr or ham to put in it. They should at least have hard boiled eggs

Nice staff, good breakfast, lovely decor, I love the clans and tartans on the walls too. Airport shuttle driver was very nice too. Traffic noise not too bad in the room, in spite of Bridgeport being such a busy road. Great for the airport.

I tried to use elec. Kettle and coffee maker and neither worked. The pack and play was filthy. Asked for a different one. At least the side were cleaner. Had to wrap a sheet around the mattress before using it. Ceilings were water stained. Looked rundown. Price was high and condition low. I have stayed before and was not so bad but won't go back again.

The property is an older building with character. It is clean, well taken care of. Staff are nice and efficient. I would stay here again.

Property is a little dated and there is no choice of dining facilities. Staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable.

The toilet swirled and rose up a long time before flushing. Very scary. And the shower leaked more down the wall then out the head. The room smelled terrible of damp and mildew. Not very impressed.

The hotel just needs an update. Style and decor are vintage. Our room was quiet for being next to the elevator but very strangely laid out. There were 3 or 4 large steps down to the bathroom. The shower was large but had a huge frosted window that needed repair. Many areas on the tinting had been scraped away and people could see in. A big issue at night when the light was on in the bathroom.
