Love this property! I enjoy staying at historic hotels so there's that, but this property pays attention to details. A beautiful property, comfortable areas to sit and relax with a book or play some cards etc.
Lots of different opportunities to grab a bite to eat or cocktail. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Pastries at Morsels are outstanding!
Complimentary coffee in the morning and snacks in the afternoon. Nice touch!
Oh and the views! Gorgeous!

Of course this is one of the most unique properties in the country. It is beautiful. This was my 3rd visit. Upon arrival I was told that we were upgraded to the Presidential Wing. The rooms there are very nice and larger than the ones in the main building but almost nowhere to plug in phones.
Also if you have trouble walking, do not stay in that wing. It is a very very very long walk to the main part of the building. Had to get a wheelchair for my husband so he could make it, which they happily provided, but all could have been avoided if we had not been "upgraded".

Trip was amazing! Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Views are spectacular!!! Variety of things to do. Stickney's restaurant is great. Can't wait to plan our next trop there.

Our Presidential Club rep, Marvin, was an absolute gem!! He made the stay and atmosphere amazing and I appreciated the experience more because of him!

Beautiful vintage hotel with gorgeous views. The staff was great! The only drawback was $20.00 a night parking charge while day parking for non guests where $10.00 . We had a difficult time finding porch chairs that day guest didn’t occupy.

We booked an $850 USD a night deluxe suite for two nights - we got dumped in what we learned was a bottom tier wing and room - deeply underwhelming to say the least - no hot water - truly terrible guest services (and we travel a TON).
I rarely post reviews (good or bad) but this s### show is one to avoid at all costs.

Beautiful historic property. Our room was small but comfortable with such high ceilings it was actually cozy. The bathroom was large and everything was very clean and comfortable. The bed was softer than we are used to but still comfy and we slept well.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in thr presidential suites wing which is very nice and new and includes a continental breakfast. My only complaint is we both found the menu in the main restaurant, called 102, to be boring and bland. Too many fish choices and only one steak. The first night we had the steak and it was great. The second night we had chicken which was very bland and accompanied by wretched Japanese style sweet potatoes and stewed kale, both of which were awful. However the blueberry Crem Brule is outstanding.

This is a wonderful historic hotel that is definitely worth his stay. We go here every year and it’s always a pleasure. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it cost. The pool is beautiful. The surroundings are beautiful. The staff is good but sometimes a bit rigid. The restaurants are great. The only thing I don’t understand is that there are some things that are not getting upgraded, such as the bathrooms or some of the common areas. But it’s a minor thing in the grand scheme. Highly recommended.
