Nice clean hotel. Close to lots of restaurants

Good: - Wonderful location near the mall, Whole Foods and highway - Parking big enough to find a spot - Staff very sweet - Big room for parents with a stroller / child to run in the room, or for someone with a wheelchair Bad: - Not clean. My daughter white socks were brown every day after walking around in the room. I could see hair in the shower upon arrival. Microwave had spot of food. - Housekeeping is bad. I was surprised to see my room not being cleaned and heard from the hotel that they do housekeeping only every other day. I asked them to at least come to change the trash bag every day as my daughter uses diapers and the smell is not great. They came while I was out and put two huge trash bags in my room for me to take care of it but they did not remove the trash filled with the diapers of both previous days. The floor was dirty. They brought me a broom for me to clean it but did not get the clue that they should do the housekeeping. - Breakfast buffet is not worth it. $16 for a very small buffet which lack variety. - No restaurant on Sunday and Monday. The rest of the time it’s open but not good at all. More like fast food. - Not even a bottle of water offers upon arrival. Each small bottle is $3. - Only 1 elevator working. Wasted time waiting on elevator also shared with housekeepers/their huge cart, and they have priority. - Too expensive for what’s is provided. Other very famous hotels downtown are much better/cleaner (same cost) if parking not required.

Very nice hotel! I stayed here one night while driving across the country and it was a great place to stay. Clean, well-lit parking lot, amenities and shopping centers nearby. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Although normally excellent had to fight ants in our room all night. The staff brought spray but didn’t help a whole lot. On pillows. Uggh

We had a great experience at the Hilton Garden Inn at St. Matthews - room was clean and arranged perfectly to provide comfort and maximum free space. Getting checked-in was simple and pleasant as was the check-out.

The hotel and staff was very nice. The breakfast came with my stay but there is no way I would pay for that. It was pretty bad. Everyone complained about it. For the price we paid , almost $300 a night a NICE free breakfast should be included,
