The only reason I chose this spot was because it was dog friendly. The rules around dogs, and the unexpected fees for having a dog make it seem like the least dog friendly place. Also, this is a house in a beach town and they request no sand be in the rooms. How is that possible when you’re at the beach? For the location, rules, and amenities, this place is overpriced.

We stayed here during our road trip down the Oregon Coast. It was a great place to stay with our family. I loved having two separate bedrooms plus the day bed in the living room area. The kitchen was nice to have - ran to the local grocery store the night we checked in and was able to cook breakfast for the family the next morning. The location was excellent. Very close to the Cape Kiwanda Sand Dunes where we spent a morning climbing the dunes and looking at starfish during low tide.

Really nice room. Comfortable bed. Nice appliances. Best part was the stellar service from start to finish. Only thing I might change would be to have a collapsible table and chairs available. There wasn't any great area to eat or play games. All in all it was a great stay and id recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Quiet location. Amazing staff. Great rooms. Soft bed.

Very clean and family friendly, the cottage was perfect for our family. We only stayed one night but it would be great for a few nights or a week at the beach!

Two night stay for day hikes and the coast. We booked a king room with kitchen so we could prepare and eat breakfasts in the room. Nice decor, spacious, and a full kitchen with a leather couch. Even had washer dryer. But wait: NO TABLE AND CHAIRS! So four stars instead of 5. Seems reasonable to expect a simple table and two chairs for eating when we booked a room with kitchen. Staff said room not advertised as having a table and chairs (?!). Also said someone broke the table and/or chair(s). Sorry, no excuses please. That said, we still recommend this place but suggest first confirming a table and chairs if you get a kitchen room.

I thought I already did this, but I would like to reiterate my last post if it did not post.
I booked a double king suite for two nights. I spent almost $600. When I arrived, the staff was very nice. When I got to my room, I immediately realized that the front window did not lock, but it was behind the tv, so I didn’t pay much attention to it. I did however realize that there was no couch, or chair, but a built in platform with a mattress pad on top.
There was a little kitchen and refrigerator, but then I noticed that there were no doors to either bedroom, but rather they had put up curtain rods with shower curtains to close off the bedrooms.
Once I related the situation to the rest of my family, I called the office to ask for them to rectify the situation. They proceeded to try to upsell me to a room that did not have AC, or king beds. I spoke with the owner, and he refused to do anything, so I contacted Expedia.
Expedia was only able to negotiate a refund for one night, so as I didn’t want to lose almost $300 dollars, my family and I were forced to stay there for the night.
Please do not give these people your money. The place is substandard, and I am simply trying to keep anyone from making the same mistake that I did.
