We book a lot of hotel nights through hotels and it is always an issue with the risk of re scheduling of plans when we are on work. In this particular case we booked 7 nights for some of our colleuges, there was some delay for them in the work and they couldnt get to the hotel that day, but we have booked and prepaid the whole stay..... When we come to the hotel they say that the rooms are gone and that we will get no refund but 10%... So the hotel and hotels.com stole 90% of our payment and thereafter rented out our rooms to someone else!!!

New, modern hotel with German minimalism , nothing extra (Every inch has been calculated even size of blanket) -personally, it is not for me, good breakfast, It is pretty clean, and Expensive parking (add $20 to your hotel price per night)

Stayed for 3 nights. The interior seems very new and it is well kept. But the room didn’t have a safe or fridge. I didn’t deep-dive into the reviews so I didn’t see any mention of no safe & fridge ahead of time. But it was an unwelcome surprise nonetheless. We were also hoping to use their laundry service but it’s only available on weekdays and we stayed over the weekend. Breakfast was good for being included, but nothing spectacular.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Fresh, modern, new and stylish, with staff always smiling and super helpful. The location was a huge benefit - short walk along the river and you are in the city centre. We loved the evening atmosphere with people dancing and chilling by the river bank. As we are a family of four, we had the bunk beds room, which wasn't a problem. Shower was great, towels very soft, room clean, and air conditioned. Parking- as mentioned in other reviews, available at the hotel for €20, or another underground parking just 50m down the road. Most streets in the area have residential permit, we mamaged to find free parking near the river. Breakfast was very nice too. Will be definitely staying again in the future.

Property was very clean and unique design I like. Breakfast was good. Looking for how to get hotel was difficult like maiz by car. Parking near hotel was full and needed to park a little bit far from hotel. My wife detect swet smell of blanket and pillow and claim to stuff but got only bed cover and pillow cover. Next morning, she spoke to front stuff and appology for her. It looks like new face didn't took care enough for this case last night. Total situation was good at H2 hotel and I will stay again if I have chance for future.

We were very grateful for Amir, the person that checked us in at night, as we were a party of 14. He was patient and accommodating with our needs. The hotel’s pillows were not very comfortable for us. You’d need 2 or 3 to feel like you have an actual pillow and there is no ice anywhere… but other than those minor things, we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Lots of cold and hot food (scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, etc.), good quality breakfast food. The breakfast area is spacious and kept clean. The three of us stayed at the four bed room. Beds are comfortable and bed linens are clean. Shower room is separate from the toilet room, each has a door for privacy. Shower room has a spacious shower space with good water pressure, and a sink. Toilet room has its own tiny sink. The area is nice and peaceful, next to the river boardwalk, which leads to Old Town . The old town Mainz Cathedral is a must visit place, breathtaking with a beautiful courtyard. We visited during the riverside summer fair, my child enjoyed the many carnival rides, there are drinks, beers and wine, food and endless stalls selling local goods. So much fun!
