Small clean, cozy facility. Amazing time in Big Bear, and this place made it over the top. Small kitchen and living room with everything you need to cook, watch TV by the fireplace or people watch from the window overlooking Big Bear Village. Lots of shops and restaurants adjacent.

The location! It’s middle of the village. We walked around with our dogs and enjoyed our stay. Very warm rooms. We really like this place. The owner(?) is ver accommodating. We will be back.
Two things we noticed:
There was not enough hot water for the bath.
The lock system is good but you can hear the other guests’ beeping sounds whenever they open/lock the doors.

Took a one daycation to Big Bear just because . It was a choice between holiday ins or socal villa . We stayed at Villa . The location couldn’t be any better . We stay at BlackBear and the window outside was spectacular. We see all the Christmas decorations and people outside just having a good time . Room was nice and clean . Except one thing was really off . The fridge ! Man, that fridge is loud ! Need to replace that fridge asap .

Really nice and cozy space. Fully stocked apartment like room steps from the village. Good marks all around except for a few things, such as having 2 beds but listed as only sleeping 2 people. We unfortunately had to book another room at a hotel next door for our 2 additional family members. They wouldn't allow more than 2 in the room. Also the couch bed bracket was broken when we got there, still folded out but we couldn't fold it back in. Other than that we had a great time

Wonderful apt, warmly recommend for a short or even long visit in Big Bear! Most cosy bead i haved in a hotels apt.

I had an amazing solo stay at SoCal in Big Bear Lake! The space was perfect—comfortable, clean, and in an ideal location close to everything I wanted to explore. This was the perfect place for us to spend a night in big bear. The space was large and had a lot to offer. Our favorite is the jacuzzi tub! We were also able to walk to get something to eat after a long drive in less than a minute! The host was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. Thanks!

Left the convenience of the location had issues with the internet Wi-Fi provider other than that everything was fine. Shows would get stuck have to reload right in the middle of a movie etc very annoying

Spent a few days up here to hike some trails and get away from the city. This is one of my favorite spots, not only because of the homey feel but because the location is central to many shops and entertainment. Keep in mind it's not a 5 star hotel, the rooms have some character. I have stayed here before and would stay again.

What a sweet little find this place was. Large and clean and quiet. Right in the Village. We had a great time and will be back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The check in was a little tricky. They don’t seem to have anyone in the office except for very select hours. I guess they tried to contact us but as we didn’t have phone service, we didn’t receive the text regarding checkin. Thankfully we ran into another guest who had the contact number for the owner and we were able to connect and check in. The place is spacious and very nice! Kitchen is well stocked with most of what you need to cook. No can opener but everything else was good! Would definitely stay here again!

Bed is bad and gave my wife back pain. Room code is a 4 digit number and so feels very insecure, there is no latch to close when you are inside.
