Great place to hooe up Whole walking the city. Short walk to Harbor , Market Square and main shopping district. Extra bonus was the in room sauna. Great way to relax after touring the city and environs.

The facilities were all new and clean, room design was beautifully sophisticated, the staff were very kind and friendly. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a pleasant surprise. As for breakfast, it really suited my taste. Though European meals sometimes feel too heavy for me, it was fresh and light, making it easy to have for breakfast. Perhaps, some people might find it too light, or wish there is more variety or variation in the meals. Everything was well-organized, every service was comfortable, and the overall experience was more than satisfying. The only slight disappointment was that laundry service came with additional charge, which I probably should have checked it beforehand. Overall, thank you for providing us a wonderful time! Hope I can visit you again.

Perfect atmosphere to relax after a long sleepless overseas flight. Staff was very welcoming, decor was lovely, beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel.

Positives: I love how clean this hotel is even years after commencing operations. For instance, there are no signs of wear and tear in the shower - shower caulk has no mould, tile grout is perfectly clean. Many hotels, even 5 star hotels, struggle to maintain this. Everything is exceptionally cleaned and well maintained. I was updated to a sauna room which was really lovely. The sauna rooms are unique and I highly recommend them. I love the music, the dark and moody feel throughout the hotel and the breakfast is superb - a 5 star experience. Lastly, the location is fantastic. I prefer Bulevadi, close to the design district, then in the heart of Kluuvi. So this is my preferred location. Negatives: This is my third stay at Lapland Bulevadi over the years. Twice I haven't been Able to eat at the restaurant at night as they have been too busy and were not staffed to handle the load. However the bar tender did give me a drink on the house as a result. This isn't too bad as there are plenty of restaurants in the area but just an observation. In my most recent stay there was a loud noise that the air con would make occasionally which would sometimes wake me up when falling asleep, it would then stop again. And I couldn't work out how to turn the aircon off? I don't like sleeping with it on and there isn't a simply off Botton like other hotels. I am sure it is simply and will just ask reception next time.

This hotel had pretty much everything I could have wanted for my stay in Helsinki. It is located in a beautiful old part of the city within reasonable walking distance of everything I wanted to see in my short stay there. Due to a failure of the in-room safe to function, Jaane, the wonderful young man at the front desk, upgraded me to a gorgeous large room with its own sauna. Needless to say I was quite comfortable and appreciative. My first night I dined at the hotel restaurant where the food was exceptional. I am not used to hotel restaurants serving this high a level of dining experience. If you stay there, or even if you don't, you might want to have a dinner there. Breakfasts were included in the room price and they are quite substantial and very tasty as well. Generally I made such a pig of myself at breakfast it wasn't necessary to eat again until dinner. Front desk staff were universally warm and accommodating. If I needed a taxi, they arranged it promptly. When I called from the airport on arriving and wanted information on how to get to the hotel, they were very specific about what taxi to take and what it should cost. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. When I am in Helsinki again, and I will be, I will definitely stay at the Lapland Bulevardi again.

One of best hotels were we had been, the root top room is amazing with sauna and bathtub. Breakfast is different than usual there is lots of from Lappland . Staff is comfortable they have time to speak with us.
