Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff.

By far the friendliest staff in any hotel I have stayed in. If you are going to the casino they referred us to a shuttle driver that operates all night.

Stayed here again for my son’s college orientation at Averett University just down the street and the hotel was as great as the first time. Large, clean, comfortable room, quiet hotel, friendly staff, and great location.

What a wonderful hotel! Beautiful room sparkling clean and Anna at the front desk couldnt' do enough to make our visit memorable. Kudos to the Holbrook!

The hotel is gorgeous. It’s reminds me of the Marriott. My only complaint about this property is I was rushed to get out of the room even though I was given permission to get a late checkout and there was technical difficulties which cause me leaving on time delayed. First & foremost, I didn’t even know that I had a late checkout. I was informed by the staff when I checked in the previous day that someone from the front staff would call me first thing in the morning to know if I got the approval for a late checkout. I had to go down to find out that I had it around 9:30 am. Then, I was locked out of my room so, I had to go back down to get that straighten out. The staff person who helped me with getting locked out told me that he extended my check out time to 1:30 pm because of this issue. At 1pm, I got a call from the front staff asking me when I’m planning to check out. I informed them that I was almost done and was downstairs by 1:30. The front desk informed me that my checkout was set for 1 pm and they were calling me because a guest requested early check in (2:30 pm) for my room. For a night stay, my experience was a lot.

I’ve stayed here several times and loved this property. This time unfortunately was my worse stay. My room was in a completely different building than I was use to. Normally I would be ok with that but I was having back problems due to a fall so the extra long walk to the back building and no elevator once in the building was rough. My refrigerator made a horrible loud grinding sound that went on through the night. There was also an issue with the internet and tv in the room. So not my best stay. But as usual the staff was so nice and friendly and the room was very clean.

Staff was great, room was great. Pods in room but not central place for coffee with fixings. Vending machine only for food and drinks. Room had table with sitting area and kitchenette fully stocked. I can live without a continental breakfast, but coffee bar would be nice.

Great place to stay. Front desk was very helpful in helping us get a ride. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I'm pretty sure the bathroom had heated floors too!

The property was very nice. Clean, spacious and nice rooms . Special unexpected treat was the heated floors in the bathroom!! Staff was accommodating and friendly. Great place. Will stay there again!
