Lovely stay at Rose’s plantation house. House is beautifully appointed and lovingly cared for. Rose went out of her way to accommodate our very early departure. Looking forward to future stays here.

Our hostess Rose was lovely, a terrific cook, happy, pleasant, and very thoughtful. Breakfasts were so special and delicious, presented on beautiful table ware in a bright room with windows overlooking the green gardens. There is a lovely back porch where we enjoyed our time overlooking more beautiful gardens. Our room was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. The AC works very well and fans keep air circulating around the farmhouse beautifully. The bed was a dream to sleep on. Sheets and bath linens are very high quality with lovely soaps, bath salts, hair products for our use. Parking is on site and convenient. Walking to the shops and restaurants took about 5-8 minutes. We would definitely book again and will be sending recommendations to our friends!

The home has been tastefully restored and decor is exquisite. Furnishings are comfortable with like-new linens & bathrobes all lending to the luxurious feel of the place.
We were a bit taken aback when we discovered our bathroom was off a common area - though still private, it was unexpected to find the 2nd floor guests exiting through the same area we tiptoed through to access it! Wear a bathrobe unless you don’t mind parading in pyjamas. 😊

Very quiet, extremely comfy bed, mostly private covered porch is sublime
Would've preferred the washroom as an ensuite but having it for exclusive use with the room compensates nicely.

Rose made our stay at her B&B very special. From the spotless room to the nice jacuzzi and delicious breakfast we wouldn't change anything. We even had a nice chat before checking out.

My wife and I visited Plantation House B&B for a night and absolutely loved it. It is located within walking distance of Port Hope downtown area and the room itself is very nice. The room is clean, ventilated and comfortable. The bathroom is well stocked and has a nice Jacuzzi.
The host was very friendly... served us hot breakfast and made us feel at ease.
