Kempinski is more expensive but is definitely the better of the 2 properties. Movenpick is decent.

I had a wonderful week staying at the Movenpick. The breakfast is wonderful! I am both gluten free and vegetarian and I was spoiled for choice. I especially recommend the home made date jam, pineapple jam and local honey. All the staff were delightful and the pool and communal areas are super comfortable, pleasant and safe. I especially recommend chocolate hour at 1830 every evening. My room was nice. The only way I would make it better would be - the sealant in the bathroom needs replacing and the windows need cleaning. But this is a very minor improvement on what was a superb experience. Thank you Movenpick!

Staff are great. Amenities are in good condition. Food is excellent. Only concern I had was a strong smell in the bathroom— management should see to a deep cleaning of the bathrooms. Will come back.

This is probably the 10th time I stay at movenpick Accra and this is the best so far great improvement in restaurant area and lobby but rooms still need improvement. Light very bad in bathroom pillows not good and no sheet to cover only dawn since this hotel is Accor they need to adopt Sofitel bedding

This was my second trip to Ghana (milestone birthday celebration), and the Movenpick was recommended. The gated property is beautiful, and staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Staff told us where the best spots were to eat and sightsee. We had the absolute best time, and I'm already planning on returning next year for a girls' trip.

The staff were amazing!! The room was okay; I've been in better for cheaper, but the bathroom let it down for me. It needs an upgrade, in my opinion. Again, been in better for less. But this is just my taste, and that's subjective, so take it with a pinch of salt.
They had a lovely breakfast spread, try the beetroot juice, delicious!
