The location

tv wasnt working. room was a bit dusty and the fan in the bathroom wasnt working. staff are friendly though

Great location and staff were very helpful

The staff in the Inn and the restaurant were friendly and helpful at all times. The only thing I found a little bit beliw that is the following, my husband uses a wheelchair, that in itself, was not a problem, however the outdoor ramp from Inn entrance to the sidewalk was manageable, however the space between several of the concrete slabs closer to the bottom were awkward to push a wheelchair over because of that extra half inch or so that Were closer to the sidewalk. We certainly coped with help of my daughter and her son helping to lift the front wheels up onto the slabs. Not a complaint....but perhaps the separate spaces could be smoothed down slightly? We enjoyed the stay, staff cheerfully helped if we needed and the decor was pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant staff and food served were great. We will be back again.

As a local I very enjoyed my time at the Howe Sound; I had been there many times but it was my first experience overnight. My room neighbours were talking quite loudly very early in the am for 1 1/2hr but that didn’t ruined my experience at the hotel

We stayed for a night to be nearby to hiking in the area. Great location with convenient parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Thanks for a nice stay!

Is a very nice place to stay. Lots of older wood but updated in the right places. Casual and comfortable which is my kind of hotel and the whole town was within walking distance. Nice having the restaurant and patio so close and I had a couple of amazing meals there.

I would hate to leave a bad review for anywhere but I’m really hoping this can be a learning experience as it’s an easy improvement. First, the profile says free onsite parking but that is not true, due to the brew pub you need to park mover a block away and the staff said, “just move your car later”. The most aggravating was the “breakfast”, which starts at 7:30. I arrived at 7:45 as I was told at check in that it’s there and we get it when we want. Well I arrived and there was no food that wasn’t cereal boxes left and the front desk staff told me they don’t replenish it. I saw some child with 5 danishes sitting nearby so it’s a continental and first come first serve. You snooze you lose. I brought this up that guests pay extra for breakfast to the front and all she said was, “we will need to change that on our website”. These are easily correctable but until they are you are paying too much and should get a condo where you can cook for yourself and have a shower with hot water.

Just a cute little chalet type hotel, the view is awesome, the staff was quite lovely. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. But they also have their own restaurant if you’re looking to keep it easy.. So happy we found this place!

I don't rate hotels or restaurants often, but I really enjoyed out stay at the Howe Sound Inn. I had eaten at the brewpub a number of times over the last twenty years, but had never stayed at the inn. Our room felt more like European hostel or gasthaus, not like a cookie-cutter chain hotel room. It wasn't traditionally luxurious, but chill and relaxing in a way I haven't found in many hotels.
