We were warned about homeless vagrants on the beach at night. We weren't able to walk safely or happily. The breakfast was fair. The snack bar was overpriced. A couple of the elevators were out of order. The clerks, especially Nicole and Petie were extremely nice and helpful. We stay at the Holiday Inn Express where ever we go. Very nice consistently. We really had an amazing time. The only complaint is there was only one elevator working and the laundry room was out of order. Other than that all was good.

Was a great relaxing stop on a LONG unexpected trip!

Had a great place in the pool area to sit and relax with the view, views from room were good on side view and staff were so nice!

The staffs were unprofessional especially the front desk and I didn’t get the room that I reserved for, they said that the third party called and canceled my reservation but I confirm the hotel.com they said that they never called without my consent.

Excellent property

The hotel had an excellent staff, all were friendly and care for any needs we may have had. This hotel is across the street from the beach, and we were the only ones there. We had an excellent stay. Breakfast included hot omelets, or scrambled eggs, with bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, they also had the pancake maker, yogurt and fresh fruit on some days. I would stay there again any time.

This hotel is a very clean, quiet and safe holiday inn express. I’m sure the casino hotel down the street is also just as good as this location so just book whatever is cheaper if your in the area for work!

I wanted to spend a few days at the beach for my birthday. The location was perfect since the beach is literally across the street from the hotel. There is also a great pool that has a fine beach view as well. The breakfast was good every day, and the property was always spotlessly clean, which is saying a lot for something that close to the beach. The people were friendly, especially the housekeeping staff. I will definitely be back.

My husband loved that there was a comfortable smoking area. Only one elevator was working and the wait was a little long but we used the stairs going down and that certainly didn’t hurt either of us. Someone cleaned our room when we had the sign outside the door. My husband didn’t like that but nothing was bothered and it was nice to me. He’s just funny that way.

I wasnt told about the security fee until after i checked in and saw a different amount on my card. One of the elevators was out of order and the one that did work was slow and making awful noises. The picture of the pool is an exaggeration. It is very small and needs updating. The pool guy was there well past the time it opened and it still had flies in it when he left. Then about an hour later a guy starts cutting grass beside the pool and the clippings were flying all over me and my family. The water on the side of the pool smells like sewer water. Its very noisey due to the "beach access" is really the highway access. Snacks in the snack bar/market are way overpriced. Parking area very cramped.

I love staying here but this was the first time I saw several pieces of hair in the shower. I always Lysol and wipe down the room. Everything else was clean.

Thought we might be able to use the pool for a couple of hours, store our bags….the parking lot of this place was *empty*. Literally not one other car. Initially, there was no one at the front desk. Eventually a woman came out, asked what I wanted and rather curtly told me I was “way too early” and could “come back after 4”. She then just stared at me and waited for me to leave. Having been properly scolded, I left. Went to get some lunch and were told the ocean water at the beach in the area was alleged to have some kind of flesh eating bacteria in it….locals told me they don’t swim in the ocean there. We just left and stayed somewhere else. Lost the whole $187. Vacation time is limited, I can get scolded at work for free. Customer service at this hotel comes last. Staff very angry. Must have it pretty hard. Do them a favor and stay somewhere else.
