Arrived at 2 PM, expecting a smooth check-in, but was told my room would be ready shortly. I checked back every 30 minutes, and despite assurances that the cleaning was being expedited, I ended up waiting in the lobby until 5:13 PM. I missed dinner reservations with friends and was late to the concert I specifically came to see. Meanwhile, I watched other guests get checked in promptly and escorted to their rooms without issue. As a Hilton Diamond member (for whatever that’s worth), I felt completely disregarded—there was no urgency from the staff, just repeated empty promises. For a $1,000 per night hotel, this was an absolute failure. Terrible experience just for one night.

My stay at the hotel was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious and well-appointed with plush bedding and high-quality linens. The temperature was perfect, and the soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The amenities, such as the cozy seating area and the modern, clean bathroom, added to the overall comfort. The attentive and friendly staff made the experience even better, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. It truly felt like a home away from home. The front desk manager and personal concierge are both very helpful.

Worst service in pool area and roof top bar/Restaurant pool area only 1 guy working no service it took over 45 min to get towels and almost 2 hours to get a drink. Valet was the same way it took over 35 min to get my car

Pool service was horrible 45-60 guest and 1 server for entire pool area. Oscar was the only one working no help he was completely alone. I waited over 45 min for towels and almost two hours to get a drink. A hotel with this caliber should have plenty of staff when guest go there to relax and enjoy the pool. Valet parking took forever waited 35 min for my car. Not happy to expansive and quality of service horrible

We stayed here for 3 nights. The first 2 nights, we had intermittent sleep because of a loud buzzing noise that would wake us up repeatedly atleast 3 dozen times and the noise would stay on for sometimes 15 minutes.
After the first night we let the front desk know and they sent engineers up and they spent 30 minutes trying to fix the noise at 10pm.
They said it was fixed, but then an hour later is started again and we didn’t sleep that night either.
On the 3rd night they gave us a new room and the manager didn’t once apologize for offer anything for the 2 nights of missed sleep.
We are platinum members and have never had service this horrible at a Waldorf property.
We usually feel like we are royalty but this property made us feel like we were staying at a Best Western.
The front desk does not pick up the phone either.
The phone would ring for 5-6 minutes plus with no success.
The iPad in the room didn’t work either which is where the in room menu is.
It’s a long list of issues for a 5 star property.
It’s unfortunate.

I have stayed at this hotel routinely since it opened about ten years ago. I will never stay here again. I had issues before I arrived. During previous stays we got a suite with a rollaway. Then suddenly due to fire codes we can no longer have a rollaway in a suite, so during this trip we get a double queen room and request a rollaway as advertised as being available when we prepaid on Expedia. I message the hotel the day of our arrival and suddenly we cannot have a rollaway in a double queen due to fire safety but we can have it in the suite we were previously told we could not. Mind you all of these conversations are saved in the app chat with the hotel over the years. We arrive and pay the incidental fee for the two nights. The next day capital 1 is notifying me Waldorf is attempting to charge my card, I then get a text from woman Victoria stating I needed to pay another incidental fee for 400. Mind you we already had paid. We ordered room service and did not receive what we ordered. It took almost an hour for my son to receive the corrected order. I have never in my life received since sub par service, especially for what we paid. I don’t want an apology from this hotel and I certainly don’t want a generic response from this hotel asking me to call or email them about what happened. If the hotel and property manager Maykel are truly remorseful about what happened then refund us for our stay. This was by far and honestly the worst birthday trip I have experienced.

This is a good property with good amenities and no doubt a quality 5 star hotel. The problem is that when I was staying there this time there was a hotel workers strike. So the quality of service and housekeeping were well below par. For half of my stay there hotel staff picketing outside the hotel and each time I entered and left the picketers were yelling at me for crossing the picket line during the strike. The hotel did nothing to compensate me for this extreme inconvenience. At 7 am there were pickets using horns and drums that would wake me up and they would aggressively picket at the hotel entrance for 5 straight days from 7AM to 9 PM. Hotel management did nothing to compensate. I paid a lot of money for my hotel room and I am troubled that management is not fairly sharing that money with the staff. If the hotel had informed me of the strike in advance I would have gladly cancelled and stayed at any hotel without labor issues. Half of trip was ruined and hotel charged me full price, like strike inconvenience never happened.

This is a great hotel if it fits your budget because it is very pricey. The service we received was superior and the staff met all expectations. Highly recommend!
