The hotel itself is beautiful, with modern amenities and a good sized room. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. A complimentary wine and cheese was offered upon our arrival. The only small things that we noted were the king size bed is not actually a king, and there are not near enough staff working in the restaurant. There was one waiter for the entirety of the indoor and outdoor seating area and we waited over an hour for him to come back after taking our drink order. The hotel restaurant had amazing food, but the drinks came from the one bartender upstairs and we waited nearly an hour for cocktails. Otherwise this was a great stay!

The hotel is in a (renovated, of course) very old and historical building very close to the center of Ponta Delgada. The pool is worth visiting; it is located in what used to be a storage area and has many stone arches typical of the houses in Ponta Delgada (except that these are very old).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 3 nights at NINE DOTS as we explored Sao Miguel. A newly renovated space means everything is clean and works as expected. Loved the high ceilings and wide hallways and room was also spacious and clean. Staff was helpful when looking for dinner ideas and finding a more cost-effective parking option. The Spa pool was perfect - warm, relaxing, inspired design. Would certainly stay here again.

The spa was a bonus and transports you to a Swiss health resort after a hard day hiking or boating it is the ultimate relaxation. Staff were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful. Honeymoon We had the honor of being the first guests at the hotel and spending our honeymoon there. We were picked up at the airport by the manager and taken to the hotel. I have NEVER seen such a hotel emerge out of nowhere and immediately surpass all the hotels on the island. The attention to detail is stunning. The decor throughout the hotel is exquisite and of very high quality. The room is wonderfully quiet, and every day there was a fresh and clean room with fresh fruits and new drinks. EVERY request was like a command to the hotel. The staff is absolutely friendly and accommodating. Every smallest question was professionally answered immediately. I have rarely seen such friendly, professional, and at the same time unobtrusive staff. The breakfast was delicious every day. The kitchen fulfilled every wish. You were always warmly welcomed to eat. The staff remembered our preferences and paid attention to every small detail, tailoring everything to us. The wellness area is very clean and very relaxing. Incredibly great pool, and the Turkish bath is very good. The hotel's own bar is also the best bar on the entire island. Even on the day of departure, there was a packed lunch.
