The toilet did not work... At all. Shared that with front desk and they said they had no one to fix it. Thankfully we were down the hall from a public bathroom. Asked about a discount and they said since i did not book through the hotel directly they could not do anything Nice staff nice hotel but I have never stayed in a hotel without a working toilet.

Great, clean, comfortable hotel with everything we needed! Staff were all very helpful- the breakfast attendant was especially attentive! We will look forward to staying there again!

Excellent property on the West side of town, nice staff, room was very clean. The whole place was well-maintained. It was close to I-94.

Very clean and comfortable with great staff! I was concerned about staying at an extended stay, but this hotel was well maintained and very comfortable. The kids loved the pool and continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

We were greeted at check in with the announcement from the front desk clerk that "we're still operating on covid protocol, so no daily housekeeping", which I found bizarre and off putting...we're 4 years past the pandemic! I was assured that we'd get our rooms cleaned every third day. That did not happen. We were there 4 nights and no housekeeping the entire time. It was a pain to have to get fresh towels every evening at the front desk and rhe clerk seemed annoyed to have to be bothered getting them for us. We've stayed here multiple times in the past and love the location and rooms, but probably won't stay again. We'll try another hotel that has appropriately moved past the pandemic and offers standard and expected housekeeping once again. Sorry Hawthorn, but you lost this repeat customer due to cutting corners on taking care of your guests.

We arrived over a holiday weekend and our room wasn’t quite ready. Instead of making us wait, the staff upgraded our room so we could get inside right away. The room was very clean, staff is really helpful, the pool was clean, and the breakfast was quick and easy before hitting the road again.

She looked in said oh you’re still here then shut the door. No apology! The next morning I got a text at 7:00 AM wanting to know when I’d be checking out. I was still asleep.

The indoor pool and the breakfast is great. It can be very humid and I really recommend installing ceiling fans for air circulation and more lighting as the rooms were kind of dark. The rest of the stay was perfect.

Everything was great! The only downfall was at the breakfast in the morning another guest thought it was necessary to have his DOG in the dining room running around and then had the audacity to have it sit up at the table to eat with him! The dog did not have a service jacket on, which I have NO PROBLEM with! This was just a little dog that had NO BUSINESS BEING WHERE WE WERE EATING!
