Was in from City for a funeral & lodging offset my grief. Check-in was a breeze. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. The continental breakfast before check-out was a most delicious surprise - bagels, yogurts, brownies, muffins. Hosts are courteous, helpful, friendly & very hospitable. A most pleasant stay @a most reasonable cost😀

Remodel building with paint chipped doors and end tables. Lamp on table missing switch to cut on and off. TV remote battery cover would not stay clipped on. When I asked the maid to NOT service my room, she went in anyway.

The Shorewood Inn is perfectly located to all the vineyards and restaurants in the area. Couldn't have picked a better location. This isn't a five stat resort but if you go in knowing that, you will enjoy your stay. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Its no frills but for the price, its perfect. The inn is family run and the staff are welcoming and helpful. They let us check in three hours early. We would stay here again.

Great stay, perfect location for wine tasting and boating. The family running this Inn is wonderful. This was our second stay and will continue to book as we travel from Florida north for summers.

This was absolutely perfect for a little weekend get away. I liked that it was close enough to Riverhead and the wineries to do both. Only issue was one of the beds had a couple of stains on the duvet cover but luckily it was just me so I slept in the other bed. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with anything I needed

Lovely old school motel with back yard feel - the windows all opened and had screens! Recent upfits in very good condition. AC works well for summer visit - tho not super quiet. Very short walk to convenience store and plaza with bagels, Dunkin’, post office, nails and pizza. Breakfast has the basics and is good. Excellent value, amenities & location!

We’ve stayed here three times before but this was the best time we had. The location of the inn is amazing for the price. Next door to one of swankiest tasting rooms on the Northfork. You walk to farms and vineyards. It’s definitely not fancy but it’s clean and that’s what matters most to me. The king room is more spacious so I would recommend that.

Our linen did not appear to be in good condition. A bath towel in our room was torn/had a hole in it, and the washcloth, one of the pillow cases, and top sheet was stained

It is our second time staying in this hotel. We like this place, although the bathroom is a little small. The receptionist was very friendly. When we arrived around 8pm, the AC was on and the light was on. Really feeling good.
I wish they can provide scrambled eggs for breakfast as we had it in our first stay.

Friendly and professional hospitality staff at this family owned hotel. It’s peaceful and close to farms, beautiful beaches, and vineyards. I love to relax after work and start again very early.

Shorewood Inn was an ease to check-in with. Their check-in staff was prepared. Had our key ready to go. Greeted us with a smile. It was a pleasure to stay there, and it was super convenient to go to any other locations around the Long Island area. The daily bagels and breakfast coffee and teas were also very accessible. Thank you.

the rooms are cute and very clean
the staff was not super knowledgable about the beaches, they were not aware of exactly which beaches you can access with the beach pass, if there was food/restaurant at the beach, and could not recommend you one beach vs another (as if they hadn't ever been themselves)
