Probably run down, empty hotel and the reception gave us the baddest room with no view. The reception was not aligned at all with the accomodation...I'm sure there's is better choices at Geilo than this. Pick better options.

Veldig bra opphold. Kunne vært litt mer familievennlig, noen spisesteder hadde ikke barnestol. Barnebassenget kunne gjerne vært litt varmere.

Large, sprawling, quirky hotel. Lots of interesting old photos, decor items throughout the many common areas - fun to explore. Small but adequate room, comfortable beds, everything we needed. Quiet at this time of year, but still plenty of guests. Really enjoyed the stay.

Unfortunately the bathrooms are starting to show their age.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is quite nice and has a lot of heritage. Comfortable stay.

Lovely period hotel with all the modern amenities. Everywhere very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Five minute walk from the station.Definitely stay here again.

Very cozy old hotel with lots of charm and atmosphere. It might be a bit worn, but that is part of the charm and to be prioritzed instead of new ordinary hotels. Free parkering and wonderful view over the mountains and skiing area. We had dinner in the sports bar - nothing fancy, but dining can be done in the restaurant also. Very nice staff and very nice breakfast. We will come back if we need to stay in Geilo again.
