Great small hotel and beautiful and clean inside. It was hard to find and there is building work nearby but great value and an enjoyable stay. Thank you

The room was very comfortable with a range of options for pillow on the bed and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast included a good range of food which was regularly replenished. This is an excellent hotel for anyone driving or cycling to enjoy La Rochelle. Having come in by train however and needing to walk into the town centre the walk was quite long and there were no public transport options.

Basic, expensive, poorly kept, food and drink also expensive we asked for some wine 5 min before they closed the desk and they refused as going home in 5min! Location a long way from the town, very disappointed and think we were overcharged.

A pleasant surprise. A nice clean and quiet room. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Within easy walking distance of the old port. About 15 minutes. Parking was safe and easy.

My stay was perfect. What I love the most is the respect and kindness the showed for may pet and for us. Everything was just amazing. I recommend this hotel. We loved our stay.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly service by all the staff. The hotel lacked any evening facilities, ie bar etc. Only a small vending machine in the lobby area. However good value and a nice location.

Very welcoming staff

Everything was very good except the lack of picturesque setting. Even with photos online research before booking, was disappointed at being in “industrial view” & surround. Great value for money with that aside and staff was excellent. Found another hotel to try next time for balance between ambiance and modern convenience. Very safe and clean. Excellent breakfast. Paid parking pretty much needed with disabled partner but hotel kindly gave us orange pylons to save the our disabled parking spot (and they had two more for others) which we really appreciated! If you don’t care about the view or walking 15 mins. to see town, stay here!

It was very good stay. First time in La Rochelle, but we will come back again and most probably to Kyriad again :). There was a small error from the staff (we got wrong room at the first instance and same room was given to the guests arriving in the evening) but that was a thing on which i would be picky. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent situated just on the edge of the centre with parking clean rooms wonderful and helpful staff. We were there during covid restrictions but breakfast was well organised, being ordered night before and brought out on trays.The only thing is maybe more english information on the leaflets in the rooms. Would I book this Hotel again yes Excellent

Perfect position, just outside the centre with parking, 20 minute walk

I got what I paid for with the stay and can't complain in terms of the standards. Staff were okay but not anything special. One of the receptionists had a bit of an attitude problem which I didn't get from anybody else. However, the lady who checked me in was reallylovely and helpful and went through a map of la Rochelle with me which was nice of her. Was a bit confused to see that when I got home the hotel had tried to take two rather large payments, one being nearly 80 euros, from my debit card. I can't imagine why this would be as I pretty much cleaned the room myself before I left and was gone by 10am so I didn't have a late checkout. Luckily as I only use the account for travelling, I had already cleared the account and received a notification when they tried to do this. I won't pursue this with them now but seems a bit dodgy to me. Other than that I can't really complain. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning standards were pretty good.

Good experience in this hotel. Room big, clean and quiet. The location is also convenient. Staff kind and helpful. It’s very easy to reach the center in a 15 min. walk.

Good value. Rooms well laid out and well equipped. Breakfast choice good. Kept awake by very loud, deep, resonant snorer in next room but can't blame hotel for him.

We didn't like the paper cups or plastic stirrers that were provided on the tea tray in the room. The stirrers softened and bent when inserted into hot liquid. Proper cups and teaspoons had to be smuggled into the room from the breakfast bar to provide normality. Only two small cartons of milk were provided each day which is insufficient, we had to keep asking reception for more milk. There were no safety hand rails or anti slip mats provided in the shower. The provision of a small fridge in the rooms would be most useful, particularly in extreme hot weather.
