Located close to the centre of Oban and only a short walk uphill from the Main Street, this cosy and attractively furnished guest house is a good choice for visitors to Oban. Friendly owners live on site and have plenty of local knowledge to share.

What a lovely place to stay! I had the best sleep of my trip here in those GLORIOUS bed linens (beds are amazingly comfortable). The owner is a delight, and it's a very quick walk to town. Enthusiastically recommended!

Beautifully clean and well laid out property. Huge room with all the amenities you need. Cozybroom withbloads of space. Delicious cooked breakfast. Janet and Stuart are wonderful hosts and Janets fantastic baking is just a bonus

Fabulous place to stay. Bedroom and bathroom well presented and everywhere was spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has gone into what people need when they are away from home and the extra touches make all the difference. Huge bonus having a decent sized fridge in the room for water, wine and beer.

George greeted us letting us know all the details for the room and places of interest/places to eat in Portree. The room was a great size, very clean and had a fridge which was handy. The bathroom was modern with a large walk-in shower. Would happily stay again when we visit the area.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was great for our needs. We also really enjoyed the dining experience for dinner and breakfast. The parking was a bit tricky as it is very limited and narrow, especially behind the hotel.

The Adelphi villa was less then a 5 minute walk to downtown Oban. The room was well equipped and clean. Would recommend

Stayed 1 night before catching ferry. Great location with parking and very clean, large room with tea and coffee making, plenty of choice in Oban to get breakfast within a few minutes walk of accommodation, good value would defiantly stay again

I don't often do reviews, but I couldn't wait to do this one. When we pulled up George was waiting at the door for us. Very welcoming, gave a complete rundown of all the places to eat, where to go see things, instructions for our stay. Our room was fabulous. Big, clean, comfortable, super updated bathroom, great bed. We wished we had booked 2 nights instead of one. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Great location and quiet. George, the property manager is great, introduce the town of Oban in a walkable distance from the property to us.

Big clean comfortable room. On site parking. No cooked breakfast but there were plenty of snacks and tea/coffee in the room plus cafés nearby.

It was perfect!!

Check in was in easy . If coming by train or ferry with luggage take a taxi, it’s a bit to far to walk there. I did call in advance and give my estimated time of arrival because there is no front desk. Which was a good idea.

Nice and quiet. Good size, well stocked room. George was a gracious host telling us everything we needed to know about the room and Oban. Best sleep we had in a long time. Very nice bathroom and shower. Just a couple blocks off the main drag. Easy walk into town.

Warm hosts, lovely room, ideal location!

Lovely home in a quiet part of town but within walking distance of area attractions. Owner discretely changed our room to the ground floor when he recognized my elderly mother was struggling with hills and stairs. Very comfortable bed. Easy breakfast. No complaints!

We were warmly welcomed and given a well marked map of the area and lots of tips. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable and the ensuite was terrific. Breakfast was not available but we were given muffins, yoghurts and fruit to start off the day which was very thoughtful. It was only a short walk down to the restaurants, shops and the pier. A very enjoyable stay. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay and would definitely return.

Helpful introduction to town with map.

The location of the property was fantastic. It was an easy walk to main part of town. The room was as described and it was clean. My only recommendation to the proprietors would be to improve communication. We did not receive messaging with an address or how to check-in. We called the day before to ask and we’re told we would be sent an email right away but never received an email. We drove to the vicinity of where we thought the room was located and it was nicely marked and easily found but I would have preferred better communication.

Amazing host and room! Spacious and well appointed room. Very helpful in introducing us to the city with tips of where to go and what to see. Great location right near downtown. Host very gracious and friendly. Highly recommend.

I was not expecting a B&B establishment to provide a muffin and a yoghurt for breakfast in your room! Surely one would expect something cooked!?

Our host George was warm an inviting! Gave us many suggestions on things to do and where to eat! Accommodation were very nice!
