Great restaurant with excellent service - including an interpretation of the menu for us more lingually challenged Brits!

Lovely accommodation with small outside sitting area Compact but perfect.. Dinner was wonderful, fabulous seafood. Warm welcome, friendly owners, great breakfast.

Breakfast as expected in France. Hotel exceeded all my friends and my expectations and excellent value. Food also very good. I will return, hopefully next year, but for a longer stay. .

The owners (I think) were very nice. The lady who checked us in spoke french at a very clear and slow rate so my o level french could just about keep up. She was helpful, clear and precise. The room was good and the town very beautiful The breakfast was good - we would have appreciated a little fresh fruit. There was croissants/ pain o chocolate/ bread/ preserves/ plain yoghurt/orange juice/ ham/cheese and eggs for boiling

The lady did inform us that it was low season and therefore many restaurants weren't open, including theirs! This was a disappointment as the fact that the hotel had it's own (good) restaurant was one of the reasons we chose it. This fact was not clear on the booking site. On wandering round the town, there only seemed to be one option for dinner (most appeared shut and one was being used for a private function only. This is the main reason we only rate this as good and not very good

Excellently located hotel next to the small channel, near the sea side and the forrest. Restaurant has excellent sea food. Hosts are very friendly with nice recommendations to visit. Our room (with patio) was freshly renovated, very clean, functional with everything you need.

Wifi was a bit slow at times. Compressor (cooling?) was running at intervals over night. Not an issue für us, but others may be disturbed.

I had booked here in 2021 but was unable to leave home. This year was very special and I was not disappointed, if fact the Hotel exceeded my best hopes. Can't wait to return. !

very small boutique hotel, staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was FANTASTIC and if you like seafood it’s the best. Breakfast was also fabulous with really good coffee.

As with lots of hotels in France there isnt a kettle of coffee in the room :-(

Clean, comfortable, modern room. Great location with various restaurants nearby, maritime atmosphere, possibility of boat trips to La Rochelle, Ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard.

What people don't necessarily know is that the restaurant in Hotel les Bains is wonderful, reasonably priced for an outstanding quality. Call the owner and ask for a room with breakfast and dinner included. The chef will treat you with fabulously fresh and creative food and give you advice for the wine to choose. Due to Covid breakfast is currently downsized to baguette, croissant, juice, delicious coffee, marmelade and butter of course. I love continental breakfast but quickly got used to it again.

Perhaps Internet connection could be better but I think this is related to the limited access on the whole island alltogether.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! We were warmly welcomed as was our dog and the room was lovely with a super shower. The restaurant is fantastic with the most delicious food, we ate there three out of four nights. We were treated like family and we felt so at home. Highly recommend and we definitely want to return.
