You'll find a golf driving range on site at this beach condo. There's convenient onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 5-minute walk to Kaanapali Beach or the 7-minute walk to Whalers Village.
Spend some time at the beach (enjoy the cabanas!), relax by the outdoor pool, or sip a drink in the outdoor entertainment area of this condo, which also features a garden. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.
A computer station, a gas grill, luggage storage, and air conditioning are featured at this vacation rental. Bathroom amenities include towels, a hair dryer, and toothbrushes and toothpaste. We booked a 1-BR oceanfront unit weeks in advance, but when it came time to check in at 4 pm they did not have any such units available and tried to put us in a 2-BR oceanfront unit that was in the middle of lanai construction instead. This construction not only blocked half the view but meant workers would be there all day. We refused to accept the unit and asked to speak to a manager, but all managers had left for the day even though it was check-in time. They finally gave us a lower category unit 2 hours later and said they would give us a price credit the next day, but one week later they have yet to process the credit. This is the worst hotel experience I've had in many years of active traveling.

The place we rented was very nice. It was better than I expected since the write up said studio. We ended up with a one full bedroom with 2 full baths. Unfortunately, Lahaina area has not really come back, it made food options limited. We ended up going to the grocery store or fast food instead of restaurants. That was disappointing but the overall area/accommodations were nice. I’d try a different island next time or another area on Maui for those reasons.

The property fronts a very beautiful beach. It’s very close to shopping and restaurants and is very well maintained. Excellent concierge services too, helping to arrange several activities for us. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The condo we were in was magnificent. The entire property was very clean and maintained. The only complaint was the pool towel situation. You are only allowed one towel. I like to have two - one to lay on and one to dry off with. Chair rental for the beach seemed expensive.

Very old and dated. Ceilings in bathroom were coming dow and pipes were visible. Baseboards were old not flush with wood work, huge cockroach from our towels sitting in the bathroom sink was in our room the second day. We were moved to another room and although it was nicer it still had the same dirty feel from the 1960’s ceilings and trim. The pool was hot, small, crowded, not refreshing at all. The front desk people and towel/beach employees were all very lovely. If it wasn’t for them I would have moved to a different property.

We loved this property so much, cannot wait to go back. We stayed in a Stunning 2 bed 2 bath ocean view and i was so much more than we were expecting. the staff is so attentive and friendly. The property is beach front, super close to black rock and close to so many dining options. This will be our go to stay when coming to Maui.

The condo was amazing! We booked well in advance and got an excellent price. Our unit had a wrap around balcony with an ocean view. Front desk staff were professional and courteous. I can't wait to go back! Booked another trip to The Whaler while we were still on the trip.

We had a fabulous time at the Whaler. Dexter was terrific and upgraded us to an ocean front room which was excellent. The unit was clean, beautiful, and quiet. The area was walkable to many options. We had the best vacation, thank you whaler.

This is our second stay in 2 weeks at this property. We had family in town and we chose this as our "staycation". Our first stay was amazing, unit was fully stocked with all necessities. Our next stay we paid for ocean FRONT vs VIEW the previous stay and we were given an oceanview unit. We were able to change units. Second unit had the amazing views but no necessities like salt and pepper and the coffee machine and toaster did not work. Overall the staff was somewhat accommodating but did not go above any beyond with their customer service. Considering the location of the resort we would stay again but not at full prices!

Condo Room 952 was an awesome view with a wrap around balcony with oceanfront views, koa fish pond view, and pool view. It was quite, clean, spacious. It has a kitchen, dining area, living room , two bedrooms and bathrooms. It was Leigh and had windows all the way around. Also, it has two doors. One thst comes into the main living area and the other that goes into the master bedroom. I highly recommend staying here.

Really loved our stay at Whalers. Very central on the Kaanapali beach and checked all the boxes for us. Would highly recommend.
If you enjoy snorkeling it’s about a 10 minute walk to Black Rock which amazed me every day.
The pool is the perfect temp and a nice hot tub.
