Awesome stay… we stayed on 3rd floor #34 (no elevator) AC was amazing… we need that due to my wife’s hot flashes… front desk was super nice… they lend you chairs and towels for the beach. Close to several spots we wanted to visit… yunque, Los kioscos, balnearios. Ohh and the restaurant was great… they only open on weekends I believe.

We had a million dollar view. Staff was super nice. It needs updating. Any hotel by the water will show signs of mother nature taking a hit on them. However i loved the view of the ocean, which makes up for it. My sleep was excellent. The bed was super comfy. They gave us chairs,towels and an umbrella at no charge with was a bonus. I would definitely want to come back.

The room was clean and staff was very nice. The property is a little older so will find some items were in need of touch up and the beds are slightly stiff. The beach was right outside the window. Its in a good location if you intend to drive the entire island and ferry to the others.

Excellent location with lots of shopping and miles a very walkable beach area. The restaurant is very good even though they don't have breakfast within 2 minutes Walk there is a great place that specializes and breakfast and it's actually which is better than you would get in any five-star hotel anyway Good way to start the day

It was a pleasant stay. Quiet, clean facilities. Beds were hard, sorry to say. Pillows not too comfy. Balcony beautiful. Had ocean view. Would recommend Coffee Therapy for breakfast and lunch.

Nice rooms & balconies. We loved the view and the fact that we were so close to the beach! Staff was friendly and helpful. Parts of the neighborhood still seemed to be in recovery, but great restaurant attached and a lot of really good places within walking distance.

The location is just amazing. Right in front of the beach with balconies for every room.
The staff was just awesome. They always answered yes to ever request we had. The internet is slow. Sometimes not working so that needs some fixing.
The state of the room: super clean but some renovations meed to happen.

In my opinion there are two critical things for any hotel, the first you expect a comfortable bed and the second is a working shower. I say this because I have stayed in 100 hotels in the past 12 months.
The bed was terrible. It had a spring mattress with no box spring and it should have been replaced long ago. Regardless of all the good features of the Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn, the bed made it terrible. That was sad because there is a lot to like here.
The staff was really good and the place is very clean. While the furniture is dated, it was fine except the bed.
The location is really nice and the view from the balcony was excellent. Unfortunately the chairs were standard height so you can't see anything sitting down (this place needs bar height chairs on the balcony).
upon getting their, the gate was closed so we had no idea on how to get in. The gate was not locked but the hinge is broken so you have to lift before opening. We didn't know this, but luckily after 10 mins of trying to figure it out, someone came out. In our 3 day stay, that was the only time it was closed.
Regarding location, this is right across the street from the beach and your only a few blocks from the downtown square and restaurants and bars.
