We stayed for 6 nights and have read all reviews. So we knew what to expect. Cleanliness should be improved. It is a 2 floor apartment with two terraces. Check-In and check-out we're easy and communication with host was always good. In general we were happy with this choice because of a great location and size of the apartment

"We highly recommend this apartment, particularly to anyone attending a conference at the Grassi Palace which is in the next street. The owner was friendly and accommodating, waiting late for us on our day of arrival. The apartment is on two floors and is exceptionally well equipped with everything one could possibly need. Chioggia is delightful, like Venice but without the tourists. It is well served by both bus and boat connections to many destinations in the Gulf of Venice. Local people were also very helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the local produce from the fish, cheese and vegetable markets."

"We had a truly great time in this very comfortable and most nicely furnished apartment. It is located on the two top floors of a nice little house in a perfect location at of Chioggia old town centre, in a small alley with linen and octopus (!) hanging across to dry. From the sunny terrace we could follow the swallows chasing over the rooftops and the seagulls taking off when the fishing boats came in to land the days’ catch. Speaking of fish; Chioggia is truly a paradise for lovers of fish and seafood. Only a few minutes walk away along the canal, from the apartment is the Pescheria (fish-market) where you could find almost anything you could dream of (Cape Sante, Orate, Branzine, Code di Rospo, tuna, shrimps of all sizes and shapes, calamares, octopusses, living eels, etc. etc.). And the kitchen in the apartment is very well equipped so if you are interested in cooking you can live like a king every day. Mrs Salmaso and her sister were also fantastic, and helped us with our daughter to get her examined at the hospital when we arrived with a fever. They also had arranged with a baby cot and baby seat for the bicycles. "sorry it took so long for an reaction ,but the place was great ,big enough for 5 persons ,two great balconies .very beautiful town and easy to visit Venice .we will surely return to this beautiful house and charming owners."
