Le Mas du Couvin is originally a traditional Camargue farmhouse located in the heart of the marshes and ponds of the Camargue, in the commune of Saintes Maries de la Mer. It is a unique place nestled in the heart of the Camargue Regional Natural Park.

Its geographical location is ideal: located near the ponds on the road to Cacharel, Arles is only 25 minutes away by car and the village of Saintes Maries de la Mer, capital of the Camargue, is only 5 minutes away.

An ode to nature and dedicated to lovers of wide open spaces, the Mas du Couvin, with its 2 hectares of natural spaces, will offer you an immersive experience in the middle of the elements: the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park, the Etang du Vaccarès and other exceptional facilities and sites are only a few minutes away, a short distance from our Mas.

The Mas is elegantly furnished and offers great comfort. You will love its location as well as its elegant design.

Completely renovated and conceptualized by a local architect, the Mas was designed to be in harmony with the elements. We wanted to create a resolutely ecological haven of peace, respectful of the fragile natural environment of the Camargue. Finally, the materials were selected in the extension of the exterior environment.

The Mas includes 5 luxurious bedrooms as well as a very large living room with central island, a dining room that can accommodate up to 12 guests and a large living room. The living room is versatile for various uses, such as dining, meeting or relaxation. The kitchen is modern and energy efficient, the living room creates a warm atmosphere. Some rooms can accommodate extra beds for children (4 additional beds). If you are many, we can provide you with a converted caravan with toilet, shower, which can accommodate up to 4 additional people (with a supplement to the rental, contact us on this subject).

THE ROOMS:
Discover unrivalled luxury in each of our 5 carefully crafted bedrooms, meticulously designed for your absolute comfort. Savour the spacious interiors, complemented by reversible air conditioning, walk-in showers, WC facilities, windows adorned with integrated mosquito nets and private terraces opening onto the lush garden. The refined decoration of each room reflects a keen sense of style, while the soft and comfortable bedding ensures a peaceful night's rest.
Of particular note is the master bedroom, located on the upper floor, offering a vast private terrace with stunning panoramic views of the Mas's tranquil pond. Furthermore, for those seeking extra space, our two bedrooms exceeding 30m2 can be equipped with additional folding beds, available at an additional cost.

THE POOL (open from April to October):

THE TERRACES:
You will find at the Mas a large terrace furnished with a shade sail for the summer. All the rooms at the Mas have a terrace furnished with armchairs and a coffee table. All the terraces have a view of the natural spaces and are south-facing.

THE MAS CABIN:
This is an unusual cabin located near the water on the edge of the Gines pond. We built it in the heart of the Mas du Couvin property with natural materials, wood and reeds. A wooden footbridge gently leads you from the Mas to the cabin. We invite you to take full advantage of this space, to take a relaxing break, observe the birds on the pond and recharge your batteries in this calm and relaxing universe, perhaps for a yoga session, a moment of relaxation or to organize small impromptu evenings ... so many invitations to take time for yourself and refocus on the essentials.

THE PARKING (carport):
A covered parking lot has been set up to accommodate 6 vehicles (maximum height 2m25). Closed shelter for bicycles. Two charging stations for electric vehicles are at your disposal (paid service).

NATURAL SPACES:
The Mas is surrounded by nearly 2 hectares of Camargue flora, subtly arranged with wooden walkways to allow you to walk around the pond and the marsh. You will certainly meet the local fauna: coypus, squirrels, herons and other birds of the Camargue… Flamingos and other large birds enjoy regularly crossing this wild nature.

ACTIVITIES:
We can offer you many activities: discovery of the Camargue on horseback, on foot, by bike... Visit of a manade guided by the owner (private property, with a traditional breeding of Camargue horses and bulls)...

MEALS:
We can put you in touch with a caterer, or a chef at home for your meals.
