Overall, I liked this place but there are a few things that could be improved upon. The property was well kept, the pool area was nice, breakfast was decent ( although initially she was hesitant to give me breakfast vouchers, even though my reservation came with it ) , and it was close to the beach. Quite a few restaurant and bar options nearby as well (big party at korner bar close by on Saturday nights). The room was very spacious and had all of the amenities such as air conditioning, safe deposit box, and a mini fridge. I noticed quite a bit of little ants that were in the room, and I also found one of those giant caterpillars one night before bed, that was a bit of a turn off. Hosts were very nice and helpful regarding tours and vehicle rentals, but I definitely found better prices just up the road on the Main Street. There was also a very rank smell coming from the bathroom the entire time, it smelled like sewage. So I just kept the bathroom door closed, but it was pretty gross. I got a great deal for this place using Hotels.com, so I was happy with the value, but I don’t know if it would’ve been worth the full price.

Very adequate service professional, good command of the English language, breakfast was satisfying.

Ok looking place at first sight, helpful reseptionist and good location. After all I didn't slept at all because there was cochroaches so I had to keep lights on. Mattres was dirty also. Reseption closes 20 pm so couldn't say anything about insect -situation. Not worth of 3stars. Kiva respa. Hyvä sijainti.Torakoita ja likainen patja. En tykännyt. About a 5 minute walk to a rocky beach then another 10 minutes to a really nice sandy beach.

Fab staff situated near 2 beaches great bungalows good restaurant had fun time but remember factor 50 as Scorchio Scorchio

Had a great time at Soontreeya Lanta. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms/bungalows were very clean and comfortable, and the western-style breakfast was convenient and delicious. My boyfriend and I stayed here in early Feb and rented scooters on site. You can also rent beach towels.The location of this resort is perfect - situation in between Long Beach and Relax Bay. Plenty of options for beach time and food within walking distance. Would highly recommend Soontreeya Lanta. It was lovely.

Helpful staff, If you don't Want a very very soft bed do not stay here, having said that the owner swaped ours for theres which was a bit on the hard side. Very good of them all the same. Pool was in good order as were the rooms and bath rooms.

We chose Ko Lanta as our honeymoon trip and its our luck in finding this beautiful to stay. Soontreeya Lanta make us feel like home. We really love this place. The bungalows, the staff, the location, the cleanliness.. everything were great. Oh and the delicious pancake breakfast ever!! Soontreeya met all our expectations. Conor and Sa are the best hosts that we ever met. Conor is very friendly, while Sa help us in finding muslim restaurant and Miriam, the staff, advice us where we the best place to go in Ko Lanta. We rent a motorbike for only 200 bhat per day. And we were really really enjoy exploring the island. Definitely we will come again. Love from Malaysia:)
