Ellison Bay is waiting for you at this spacious 3-bedroom Ranch home on 2-1/2 secluded acres. With 3 queen beds, 1 full bed, and two sleeper sofas, this property offers an enjoyable stay for you and your guests. The house features 3 bathrooms with a shower and a bathtub/shower and hair dryers, along with a cozy living room, a see-through fireplace, a high ceilinged eat-in kitchen, and a private office available to you for that occasional 5-minute check-in to work. Amenities like WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, heating, and an iron are provided for your convenience. Outdoors, please enjoy our grill, fire-pit and any of our outdoor games, and the dog run on our property. Experience an excellent getaway in this terrific vacation rental. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. NO SMOKING and NO CATS PLEASE.

Traveling to Door County, we like to go as far north as possible. This house was perfect. Quick and easy access to all of the “top of the thumb” activities we enjoy. The house itself was excellent, with large rooms and plenty of space, great furniture and comfortable beds.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious, well furnished, comfy beds and great air flow with the garage that is converted to another family area/sunroom. No a/c was not a problem at all. Great yard for our frisbee loving dog to play in. Place is for sale now it seems and boy, do I wish we had the means to snatch it up! Check in/ check out was a breeze and the hosts were always quick to respond to messages.

Had a lovely time in this large home with more than enough room for the four of us. Nice sized bedrooms and good bathroom accommodations. The large kitchen and dining area was great for hanging out and playing games in the evenings as was the large living room area with large windows. Huge yard to walk the dog around and a great coffee shop just two doors down. It did get a bit humid and warm a few days and although there isn't AC, there are ceiling fans which definitely helped.

We had 6 adults and two toddlers. There was a lot of space for all of us. The office is kind of separated from the rest of the house and is like a second living room with a TV which was great for adults who wanted to watch something other than cartoons. The garage area was also another living space with a screen when the door opens. That was great for hanging out while we grilled out many times. We used out coolers to block the stairs in the garage so the toddlers would not fall down. We also brought our own flat top grill. Fire pit area was nice. Water pressure was amazing. We stayed middle of August and were comfortable with all of the fans provided and open windows at night.The house is clearly older but it was spacious inside and out which was perfect for us.

This property was perfect for a family of 4 adults to vacation for a few nights. We loved sitting out at the fire pit in the evening and had everything we needed for our stay.

It was a cute getaway. Lots of room. Pretty warm this weekend and we could not get windows to open in all rooms. Was stuffy, no air conditioning. Normally it’s probably fine but we had hiked all day, and it was pretty warm. We got a little pink. So too hot for me to sleep comfortably.

Overall, this is a nice place for a large family. It was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. Most every thing was very good. The only problems were the internet and the outdoor grill. The internet is virtually unusable. The outdoor grill is broken and totally unusable.

You can literally get lost in this house it's so big.
The owners are very nice and was helpful in every way.

The appliances were new, the living room was comfortable. The bathrooms were ‘t very clean. The beds weren’t as comfortable as we would have liked . There Was a big Lannon stone ledge on the fireplace that stuck out about 18”that was at about 5’8” high my husband is short and it was above his site line he got a big gash on his head. The whole house needs remodeling.

Appreciated the 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom layout. Loved the large dining table next to the fireplace. Easy parking with U-shaped in/out driveway so you can park right at the back entrance. Easy to find on main (but not busy) highway, but set back among trees so very private and quiet. Bed in the largest bedroom was very comfy, so I assume the others are as well. Only tips: Gas grill was apparently out of order - dirty and we couldn't get it started. If you want to leave a gift for next renters, bring a rubber spatula.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home had plenty of space for our family and was well appointed. The property is quiet and private, but close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

Very nice place and location. It was easy to get to all the locations we wanted to in Door County and a quick drive to the Washington Island ferry. The bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty so each couple (two married couples traveling together) were able to have ample space. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking as well.

We really enjoyed our time at this spacious, comfortable, and peaceful home! Although a little dated, it had all of the necessary amenities. The owners were excellent and very quick to respond to any questions! And of course we love being able to bring our dog to a home that is so dog friendly!

We had a relaxing stay in part because of the location and layout of the cottage. Everything we would need for a comfortable stay was provided. Comfortable beds and plenty of soft towels for our group, and plenty of seating in the family room. The only trouble we had was streaming a movie on Netflix but that’s not unusual in this neck of the woods in Door County.
If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay on the “quiet” side of Door County this is your place. But no worries if you want more action. It’s a short drive to anyplace you desire in DC.

The house was large and mostly as advertised. Communication with the host was quick and efficient before and during. Check-in and access was good. The house could use some updates. When it rained, there were leaks. Power plugs were loose, and an outlet in the kitchen stopped working completely. The coffee shop that was next door appears permanently closed. No wow factor but nothing terribly wrong either.

This property was beautiful! It was peaceful and quiet yet not far from the hustle and bustle of nearby towns. Fully stocked and spacious kitchen. If we had any questions the owner was quick to reply and help. We highly recommend experiencing this lovely home. We will for sure be back.

Great house for the 8 of us. Everyone had a comfortable room. The screened in bonus room and private den was a surprise. We had 2 great bon fires in the yard. We had a wonderful family reunion.

We had a lovely time. The U-shaped driveway with parking behind the house, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths all work great for three retired friends meeting for a Door County week. We've already booked for next June - our third visit in a row.
