Great breakfast buffet in cozy indoor restaurant with two wood burning fireplaces or in the balcony, with sweeping views of nearby mountains. The hotel is in a privileged location at the foot of Pedra Azul. Many hiking trails closeby. Very clean, spacious room with high vaulted ceilings, double balconies, exquisite hardwood and beautiful rustic décor. Large bathroom. Very polite friendly staff, always striving to please the guests.

The shower/bathtub combination could be improved (I'd suggests separating shower from bathtub and/or eliminate or update the bathtub)

Amazing views of Pedra Azul. Loved the room and breakfast. It has an amazing waterfall and view of the city. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We really like this hotel and will likely stay here again.

The staff did not inform us of many things when we checked in, such as times of meals, check out, things included, etc. It was like here is your key and that was it. In addition, we were at the pool and I had to go to the front desk to get help with the sauna, towels, and drinks. I got more help from the intern than the workers.
