the owner provided us with various information about the surrounding attractions, useful phone numbers and responded quite quickly on whatsapp.

-first of all, the location of the apartment is in an at least dubious area. - the linens were not changed, they had hair on them and smelled very bad at around 12 at night the owner calls us insistently because he was informed by the neighbors that we are making noise, which is totally untrue.. - one of the bathrooms has a strange location to say the least, in the middle of the house...and its walls and door are made of glass.

The two ladies were amiable and always smiled. They also come to clean up every day and with all clean towels.

One bedroom needed to walk to the wooden stairs to sort of basement. Maybe the sewer is under the bathroom, and the smell was not good.

The room is relatively large and has the main equipment for living.

The apartment is located in strange area with a lot of Afro-Portuguese and Muslim people. I lived in the ground floor and pedestrians were looking inside. It is not comfortable. The room and especially the bathroom was not clean. Hair dryer was not working as well as the plug. My mother had a problem with it every morning.

For 4 people the space is OK, but for more it would be quite small. It was clean.

The bathroom is part of the room itsself closed with a shaded glass door. But you will hear every single noise of the bathroom, which might be embarresing staying with friends:) Kitchen is very poor equipped. Payment regularities are very strange to me, it is not possible to pay via booking com. You are asked to pay via a link in an email that will be send to you and you shall insert your credit card details including cvv. I did not like that at all, so be careful to pay cash or choose anther place to stay.

I had a very good stay at Sao Jorge's Apartments and Suites. The place was quiet. It was close to most of the attractions in Lisboa and to the bus stops as well.

Only one thing i have to mention ,maybe its normal, but the nearby streets were a bit scary during the night because of the suspicious people walking around thats why i avoided going out late in the night.

The host was very helpful, giving us tips on nearby restaurants etc. The apartment was located very close to the center, so everything was easily reached by foot.

The sleeping situation. The apartment was not suited for five people. The apartment was located in a street that felt a bit unsafe at night if walking there alone as a woman.

No hot water from the sink tap ,the bunk bed was home made and very high with no safety rail so we did not use the top bunk ,the bathroom and toilet are made of a glass partition right next to the bunk bed so you could look in to it off the top bunk ,we then found a bait box under the bed settee so that did not go down well ,also there were hair on the bed sheets but i must say when we complained the sheets were changed immediately the kitchen appliances were very clean and looked after. Its very rare for me to make remarks like this but i felt compelled to let people know .on the bright side although the area is a little run down i felt safe and it is very close to the center of Lisbon and the start of the historic tram route

It was reasonably priced and everything we needed was walkable. The host was excellent and gave us many really good tips on restaurants and places to see. He made sure our transportation to the airport arrived on time.

The location…..it was located in a very sketchy part of the city however you just needed to walk about two blocks and you were in the tourist area and felt safe! While the place was clean, finding mouse traps located within the apartment leaves you feeling there is an issue.

First of all, I would like to thank the owner for the information he gave us. and if everyone wrote that there is a presence of many people on the streets, the whole area is very quiet and clean, there is no noise. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for your stay. It is cleaned every day, although we were out all day, they bring clean towels, the advantage of two bathrooms when there are more people staying. I also have to mention that everything you need is within walking distance of 200 to 300m. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, if we come back we will stay here again.

Everything was fine before cleaning ladies STOLE my headphones.

1. I left apartment at 11am and on my way to train I realized I forgot my headphones charging back in the apartment so I went back to pick them up. When I came back, there were cleaning ladies cleaning apartment. I checked the place where I left my headphones charging and they were not there. When I asked them where was my headphones they said there was nothing there and they started nervously looking in random places meanwhile I told them where I left them. What were they doing there at the first place at 11am when my check out time is at 12:30am?? Yes I brought my luggage with me but they didn’t see me leaving with it, so how did the know I had any? Maybe I only had backpack and I went to have a coffee and I left my headphones charging. 2. When owner checked cameras he told me there was nobody else but cleaning ladies after I left. He was straight forward telling me to check my luggage and told me that I forgot that I put them there. Mister, I’m 23, I remember things and yes, I checked my stuff. Literally remember charging my phone before leaving and them charging my headphones. I remember it clear as day. Owner is trying to cover up for them when I 100% sure it was them who stole them.

Jorge and the housekeeping staff were very helpful and prompt in answering our queries. Jorge provided information about check in parking, nearby facilities and was very accessible via WhatsApp throughout our stay. The apartment was a duplex, with a spiral stairs between the upper and lower floor. It had all that we needed, including a kettle, mugs, plates and utensils. There was even an induction stove and a heavy bottomed stainless steel pot in case you want to do any simple cooking. Beds were comfortable and quilts sufficient to keep us warm during winter. The housekeeping staff gave us fresh towels and face towels and made our beds after the first day, which was a nice surprise since most non-serviced apartments do not have this service. We loved the central location of the apartment too.

No in-house parking. If you have heavy luggage and need to come via car, cheapest (public) parking is a 15 min walk away so you will need one traveller to unload the luggage and bring it into the apartment while the other drives off to park the car. Note: no washing machine for those who are hoping to get some laundry done.

The service, and the management. The host was careful and everything well organized. The room was clean and comfortable beds. Good for students, and young group of friends. There is a public parking nearby.

No elevator and straight stairs. Not so comfortable for older people and for people with big suitcases. Very noisy neighbors overnight.
