The Villa was spacious and had everything you needed. The pool was perfect size for a family of 6 and was within walking distance to the town. A cab from town back to the villa was only €8. Kostas the owner was fabulous from the moment we booked and sorted out any questions we had!

Nothing! It was perfect!

Located in a quiet area of Stalida, no traffic noise, just peace and quiet. Beds were comfy and good size, big lounge although never used tv as spent most time during day outside by the pool, sun bathing and using the pool to cool down, lovely. The whole villa was clean and tidy, kitchen good size with all the utensils, if you wanted to cook. 10 minute walk from the main strip of shops and restaurants, Stalis, great little supermarket about 5 minute walk from villa on main road, which supply all you need, the owners were a lovely couple, very helpful 😀 👍

Toilet upstairs didn’t work and wasn’t fixed even though we asked if they could fix it

Big rooms and very comfortable beds, clean swimming pool, big kitchen and oven fridge freezer

Villa needs some attention little run down Outside furniture is very tired and old and there are wasps all around the pool all day which put us off using it, it is also very small for a family and not very deep Tiles around th pool are very slippery There is no privacy with people entering the Villa behind as you have the same entrance and they walk straight through passed your pool area and can see over the fence Kitchen utensils pots, pans, cutlery very old, these things are only cheap to buy which would make a difference Had problem with drains, owner did come when it got really bad

The location of this villa is excellent, there is a holiday apartment block 5 minutes walk away (Athena) which did meals, snacks and cocktails. There is also a mini market about 7 minutes walk away that stocked the essentials - the eggs are from the owners own chickens!!! It was an easy 10/15 minutes walk to the lovely restaurants of Stalis. The general area was very pleasant and quiet. The space in the villa is excellent, spacious lounge, good size bedrooms and nice size kitchen. The kitchen facilities and utilities were very good. The Smart TV was excellent. WiFi was acceptable, it was good most of the time but that's the nature of WiFi!!! The beds were very comfortable. Pool was small but adequate although one of the sun beds was broken and some tiles were missing and loose. The 1 full bathroom had a wonderful shower and there was plenty of hot water but it leaked. There was a good washing machine in the bathroom which was easy to use. Good quality air conditioning units in the living room/lounge and all the 3 bedrooms. There was a downstairs loo but the water was running through the cistern all day and night throughout the holiday.

The biggest issue for us was there was NO privacy, there is a villa directly behind Villa Katerina and their back balcony is directly over the pool. To access the villa at the back the holiday makers had to walk past your pool area. There is a fenced walkway but it was only 3 ft high, there NEEDS to be a higher fence or some other type of privacy screening put in place. In our 1st week we had a run in with the 'neighbours', a group of 6 young lads who were out on the (very close) back balcony at 4am playing loud music and when we challenged them they threatened my husband!!! The owner of the other villa did pay them a visit after we complained and all was quiet, but we felt very uncomfortable as they passed by us at least twice a day, to the extent that we spent most of our days away from the villa until they went home. I know this is not the fault of Kostos but felt it needed calling out on here. You really are so close to the villa at the back! The quality of the wardrobes were poor (think cheap Ikea) with no backs in the drawers. There is no mid-week cleaning or change of linen (you could pay extra for this, but at €2800 we felt we'd paid enough). The laminate flooring is cheap and damaged in a number of places and upstairs there are gaps in the flooring. We changed our own sheets and the mattress was stained in numerous places. The place was cleaned but it was still very dusty in the lounge around the sofas. The sofas were covered in stretchy brown gathered covers that looked very, very old and when we lifted the covers the sofas looked like they had come out of a skip! Although surprisingly they were comfortable. The handle on the bedroom door was hanging off. The shower area was polished concrete, no tiles on the wall, not sure if this was a 'design feature'??!! Overall this villa could be wonderful with investment, as it stands it's run down and the only quality is in the kitchen area.
