great location, fantastic pool and gardens

Perfect lokation in nice Porto Antigo 2 complex. Well maintained pool surrounded by lovely garden. Infinity pool with salt water few meters away, on the coast. Good sandy beach.

Owner has not changed anything in this apartment last 20 years or more .Sofa and balcony chairs look like taken from landfill Mosquitoes added bad impresions.

Would have liked a sunshine balcony but thats no big deal. I should have researched better.

Great location. The complex itself is great. Nice clean pool with access to the beach. Everything is close by ie shops and restaurants. Security really good and helpful.

The "confirmed" airport transfer never turned up so checking in was difficult as there where no keys for the apartment. The apartment needs a bit of TLC. Kitchen tap leaking so lots of water in the cupboard underneath so there was a damp smell. Only 1 gas ring working. Its managed by someone off site which we had to find to make the full cash payment for the property. Despite all this I would 100% go back to the same place. I think they are just re covering post covid so these repairs will soon be sorted

Great view of the beach, you can just walk 1 mnt to be at the pool and then just 5 meters more and you're at the beach. There is always security around the complex.

The bed has a foam mattress which will definitely sink when you lay on your side and specially if it's 2 people sleeping. There is always music playing around the town until around 1 am so be ready to be able to hear the music inside the apartment even with the windows closed.

Nice pool, garden and amazing location.

The apartment was timeworn. There was a hole in the shower tiles with black mold. The bed was extremely hard without any matress. Very poor and inhospitable light in the big room. Wierd payment, would be nice to be able to pay near the facility or with card.

apartment was probably the worst I have ever stayed in very basic had to ask for towels kettle,cooker did no work shower tiles were cracked and broken kitchen surfaces had burn marks

best location, very friendly staff, fluent in several languages. very nice pool, large apartment. nothing too chic, but great value for the money.

the shower had absolutely no pressure (1st floor), although the kitchen did not have this issue. we asked for a bucket to shower that way but somehow also this request was not met. clearly this is not optimal after a day at the beach, but nonetheless we would still recommend this place.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Cleaning staff fabulous, immediate response to anything amiss. I asked for the iron, 3 mins later had iron. Security friendly and professional, watching for any problem situation. Beautiful Gardens & grounds. Fantastic sunset/sea view. Great value.

The apartment was a little tired. Only 1 cooker ring would stay on. Ignition clicked all night once. Had to disconnect. All was repaired next day. Worktop well marked. Big scuff of balcony wall. Nothing drastic.

Superb location and facilities at Porto Antigo 2

The apartment has areas that need renovation, especially the bathroom. The shower and cubicle has been badly maintained and it is difficult to use without flooding the room.

the Location is walking distance from the tourist area

the complexe feel, to many rules, you are not allowed to do a lot things, also some of the security staffs not nice at all , very rude, maybe they forgetting we are in vacation we want to relax,

Very relaxed atmosphere right on the beach. lovely pool area and functional clean apartments. closeness to the cosy Santa Maria village and several excellent beach side restaurants

Nice and quiet location. Close from restaurants and shops just few mins walk from Santa Maria centrum. And the beach is just next to you :) It was not too busy and there was allways space by the pool if you wanted to stay there. Mostly friendly staff members. Well maintained garden area. Room had a nice view towards the sea. Overall the room was ok for sleeping and even for cooking if you up for that. Maybe new frying pan and checking all kitchen instruments would be good to do.

The room I stayed (blue decor with buddha statue) was a bit worn out and some bits in there needs a change or proper fixing. Like fridge cupboard door was half attach, they fix it few days after I told about it. Shower cubicle was leaking and there was many holes. Bathroom door was bad, bidet was leaking water on the floor, walls had some bad bits and were just painted over. Mattress on bed was not supercomfy, u could feel strings. Curtains had some holes and room was not superclean. Walls were superthin, you can hear everything from other room. People in the office/reception were not there like 3 times when it was suppose to be open. I had late check out and there was no-one there to return my key. In the end I found security guy and left the key to him.

Excellently located apartment complex with beautiful gardens surrounding good size pool ovelooking the beach . The apartments are of different size , design . although the apartment itself was alittle tired it represented very good value due to its location and amenities .

wifi stopped working after ist night.

The location was great and the pool area very pretty

The air con did not work. We had to sleep with the patio doors open to get air. This meant we were literally eaten alive by mosquitoes. Also our safety was grossly compromised as anyone could have easily come over the patio wall from the adjacent public path and into the apartment. It appears that including air con on the particulars of a place doesn't guarantee it works.
