The service was great! People are VERY very nice.

The mattress seemed quite old and uncomfortable and the decor dated.

we left very early in the morning and would be too early for breakfast so, Sarah who runs the Inn made blt's for us both, to eat on our journey home...a very nice personal touch.

The property itself is fantastic, lovely and cozy feel to it. Rooms are all their own separate units and is located in a lovely peaceful area.

Nothing to really say that I didn’t like about it.

The Poachers Inn are very dog friendly. The room was well furnished and had a great bed, spacious bathroom with bath and shower. The staff so friendly, restaurant and food excellent. Would highly recommend.

Friendly , pub rooms

Pub - restaurant little choice of food and not great quality - also in bar very limited on drinks range/quality available- paid for superior room which was located above the kitchen so had the rumble/vibration of kitchen extraction fans from 4-8pm - also very large green security light in room located middle of ceiling (rather than discreetly by door) so as it’s all on all night (we hadn’t any control ) the room was lit up by greenish ligh so bright all night

It was delightful. Sarah and her team were very friendly and welcoming. It was a very relaxed environment, great quality food and exceptionally clean!

Location was very good for us. The country setting was excellent. Breakfast was very good. We found the staff to be helpful.

Lovely quaint, quiet place, off the beaten track, that served great food, with friendly staff, where nothing was to much bother. The history of the village was amazing. Thank you for a relaxing, peaceful stay, we will be back.

Exceptional value for money + £15 for our dog. Good email communication prior to our visit. Clean, warm, spacious, very friendly & efficient staff, good tasty food & excellent breakfast. Will definitely visit again. Good location & dog friendly in most areas. Did not want to leave!

Not an inexpensive place but considering location in holiday time not surprising. Nice room, bed definitely larger and better than many in similar situations. Good bathroom, proper shower and all clean. Evening meals not exotic but better than average cooked and served and at a sensible price.

The vegetarian sausage at breakfast was terrible! Just get a Linda McCartney one!

Lovely quiet location - the River Piddle runs through the grounds - and the walk around the old part of the village by the church (and for some reason called "Little Egypt) is very relaxing. Bacon, eggs and fried bread were delicious and the staff most obliging. Recommend.
